Every place I have looked explained it in such a complicated way expecting people to know every terminology or made their explanation in a way that expected people to already be experts. But here I am sitting all the way in Denmark studying for my exam, not even knowing what relational modeling was about, and you just gave me the only run through that made sense. Actually, a tribute is a noun. It's a thing. To attribute something, like attributing a quote to a person, would be the verb form. Caleb's pronunciation of attribute is odd but I've heard many people say it that way.

Either way all the concepts don't change much. Database Systems, A practical Approach to Design, Implementation, and Management by Thomas Connolly and Carolyn Begg. Mine is the third edition. It's like 1200 pages... I read only a few chapters that I needed and learned a ton after I studied it for a while.
