    You have made the best piece of material on the internet I have been able to find which explains "Relational Model".
    Every place I have looked explained it in such a complicated way expecting people to know every terminology or made their explanation in a way that expected people to already be experts.
    But here I am sitting all the way in Denmark studying for my exam, not even knowing what relational modeling was about, and you just gave me the only run through that made sense.
    One thing is to know the stuff, another is to know how to teach it and you do it extremely well.
    Thank you soo much!

    "A tribute or attribute, that is the question."

    • @TheSkepticSkwerl
      @TheSkepticSkwerl 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      attribute is an adjective. "A tribute" is a verb.

    • @Mattiedamacdaddy
      @Mattiedamacdaddy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@TheSkepticSkwerl So completely wrong I have to correct you 3 years later. Attribute is a verb or a noun; a tribute is a noun.

    • @znull3356
      @znull3356 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Mattiedamacdaddy
      A little under 3 weeks later actually but yes, the 'attribute' being discussed here is a noun, while Caleb is pronouncing it as the verb. Sorry Skwerl, your fellow Grammar Nazis have spoken. To the train with you.

    • @ndwknss
      @ndwknss 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, a tribute is a noun. It's a thing. To attribute something, like attributing a quote to a person, would be the verb form. Caleb's pronunciation of attribute is odd but I've heard many people say it that way.

    Great video! Hey, can you suggest any good book for reference amd learn all the theory of databases?

    • @codebreakthrough
      @codebreakthrough  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ALL the theory? well..that's pretty serious. haha. I got this really in depth book that I'm borrowing. It's kinda old but I'm sure they have newer ones out or something. Either way all the concepts don't change much. Database Systems, A practical Approach to Design, Implementation, and Management by Thomas Connolly and Carolyn Begg. Mine is the third edition. It's like 1200 pages... I read only a few chapters that I needed and learned a ton after I studied it for a while.
      Here is the most recent edition that I know of:www.amazon.com/Database-Systems-Practical-Implementation-Management/dp/0132943263/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1405186655&sr=1-1&keywords=database+systems+a+practical+approach+to+design+implementation+and+management+6th+editionAnd just so you know, I don't get any commission if you buy from that link :PI'm sure you could get a used one or something for pretty cheap! Thanks for asking.

    Hello Caleb, I am doing a relational database but I run into a doubt. if I relate CustomerTbl to OrderTbl, and OrderTbl is related to ProductTbl, will the CustomerTbl be automatically related to ProductTbl? Or I will have to manually relate the tables Customer to Product tables? please help me with that

    Wow nice, but would like to know: how to access the relational tables properly using PHP, one example i've seen so far is by using a: while loop inslide a while loop, i mean is it just like the same everywhere?..
    And by the way comments don't load for me on youtube sometimes:(

    Great video, but here, the word "attributes" is a noun and is pronounced "AT-tributes" not "at-TRIB-utes". (Accent is on the first syllable, not the second.) You are pronouncing "attributes" the way it would be said if it were a verb. The grammar Nazi now relinquishes the floor to you, Caleb. Great video!
