My children have been in Waldorf since 2009, with my now Senior graduating there this year, after beginning K-garden at 4 yo. We had so many magical years there. So sad and disappointing to be witnessing all this unfold in our school the past few years…. It’s been an avalanche and I feel there’s no stopping it…
Every time I hear Dr. Gabriel talk about Waldorf education I pick up more little gems to apply to my homeschool... there is so much to learn and hearing you talk relays so much more information than reading a book (alas, for me, anyway). Thank you!
I have a family member who went to Steiner school, as we call them here In Denmark, from 4th to 12th grade. She is now being trained as a teacher/pedagogue in the Steiner method and they have only had a few lessons about Steiner and the teachings telling them not to worry that they do not understand what he writes because neither do they and their teaching colleagues . I inquired what they had been given by Steiner to read and she said "a few pages taken from an old book" nothing about where it came from a big or a lecture! But they learn in mass woke stuff with men can be ladies and white men are the root of all evil. The word Christ has not been mentioned once when I last spoke to her and she has almost been there a year. I have to say that the nurseries and kindergartens I have seen she has worked at are good for the children but the staff are out of their minds on the woke stuff. And yes the old ones who read the books are leaving.
Very sad however religion does not belong in school other than teaching about each one like when students enter 3rd grade at waldorf. Not all people are Christians and the religion is being taught improperly to begin with. Christianity is modern sun worship and the KJV has been mis translated over 6500 times. Its past time humans wake up to this fact. The Roman catholics gave humanity the KJV and we know they cannot be trusted.

Regarding forming habits, the school bell is literally like Pavlovian conditioning for imprinting the following of calendar time in society. One Gregorian calendar, to rule them all... Calendar time is of course useful for making society function but it's also a very rigid and Ahrimanic overlay over the natural world.
I've paused so I can maintain my equilibrium. I am the human being I am today because of Waldodrf teachers. I am a member of the Anthroposophical Society and the School of Micha-el because of Waldorf teachers. May the Class members in our local Waldorf school and beyond hold our schools. May our Camphill Movement be protected from foes on their Boards.
I work as a Safety Manager in Transportation in California. For a number of years I had a boss who is a black man. He has since retired. He was in his seventies and had attended/graduated from the very first Waldorf school in New York city, having gone through that curriculum. I could see how that influence benefited him greatly in life. He was well-rounded, educated, strong, and kind ... a world citizen. Clearly his skin color was not an issue back then. I'm quite a "young" person myself and sitting listening to you two ( sometimes 3) has become one of my favourite things, obviously because I've been in love with Anthroposophy from the beginning of the century and simce then, the more I learn and envolve my time with it, in whatever way, the more I fall in love with it and with all that surrounds me and the more I do that....the better I BREATH. Im so fortunate my kids finished their time at Waldorf (nursery-8th grade) before the pandemic. It think it was the very last era before the downfall. When I saw kids wearing masks in the garden on The Sanderling Waldorf instagram my heart broke. What could possibly be more antithetical to Steiner...shame on them. They missed the greatest opportunity to be the stronghold against such child abuse. Instead they caved to the cowardly parents and teachers who have no concept of Steiner philosophy.
Thank you 3 again for keeping the Awe in Waldorf despite the train wreck of AWSNA! Very helpful for us 2 seniors who keep studying RS and then pass it on in a 7th grade low achieving reading class and to any other ears out there!

Religious lessons or CC priests forbidden to visit schools even for a talk to parents. The culmination was firing excellent Waldorf teachers because they refused to comply with vax mandates. It included school principal, eurythmy teachers that are practically impossible to find in NZ. Kids who didn't wear masks were ridiculed and left outside of classrooms....sad times.
We saw it coming when our son was still attending a school about 4 years ago The class was interrupted daily by a boy in a dress and makeup. But our son was told he couldnt wear a beanie cap, too distracting. That was enough for us
In south africa we have a number of black schools in poorer areas who love waldorf education. other waldorf schools are totally mixed. My (white ) child's teacher was black and he loved her. She now teaches teachers. My son is totally non racist and non sexist. His black friends never felt discriminated against. We have people of all races and religions on our boards. In fact Waldorf education allows discussion of all variations at appropriate times in the curriculum. The Federation keeps an eye on standards and it is their task to interpret Waldorf education with the government..not the other way around. !! We had many discussions with parents to show the diversity in Waldorf education. This is important to bring understanding

Here on Whidbey Island in Washington State...they have a man wearing a dress, etc...teaching kindergarteners. After noticing a lot of worrisome signs...this made me walk away for good...despite the good pay for playing piano for their Eurhythy classes. Devastating....as I was a waldorf mom and volunteer for many many years in Chicago before moving to Whidbey. I'll never work for Waldorf again, and now I wish I had home schooled my now grown son all those many years ago.

It was interesting when you said something about the recorder. The way that teaching with the instrument can encompass so many different aspects of the work. I remember wondering to myself when you said that. You had demonstrated this to other people. What that demonstration looked like. However, without a whole lot of children, I'm curious if there are any digital records of this expression or if there could be some type of demonstration along those lines.
the best is to just let it die so that you dont make it an issue...the wokeness will end..its just a new fad. Steiner also said to not rock the boat..its more important to persist over time..dont forget he started waldorf schools in a time of Nazism. Our school went through covid complying outwardly so that people didnt look too close. It takes one tell-tale parent to close the school completely. We even went online and were quite creative how we did it. (They can still jump up and down in their own houses! ..even eurythmy can be done. ) Whats important is that TEACHERS (not administrators) keep the Waldorf values. Teacher education is key.

He sent his first draft to many people and publishers and that is what he is talking about. He got lots of encouragement. I gave him the treatment that started him channeling the book. He used my crystal to continue to open his third eye. John knows that and was there.

Wow, so sorry to hear this. My brother went to Waldorf 6, 7, & 8 grade. He loved it. He was then put in Jesuit in high school. He was so depressed. Back then, Waldorf was a wonderful school. But that was along time ago. I have read many books on the Waldorf Education, so familiar with the teachings. I understand that Steiner also did not want competitive, sports in his schools. But I was told that the parents were insisting on it and it was being included. Now the woke agenda. Sad..and yes, the mask mandate is complete nonsense.

This deterioration has also affected a well known company with anthroposophical cosmetics and medicinal products. As with other companies in this area, the anthroposophical products suddently contain very doubtful, if not to say poisonous, ingredients. In many cases the poison has just been added, not replacing anything else. I find it very disturbing, because, like Waldorf schools, these products continue to have a confidence bonus and people just don't believe, what is happening. But thank you for talking about the schools. I fear, that this is happening all over the world with Rudolf Steiner or Waldorf schools.

I have been studying Steiner for 4 years now and been to a retreat with some Steiner scholars.I have heard a few hair raising things about what is happening and it matches with what you are saying.Its saddening , and I wanted to write that I used to go to a zen monastry for years and that is on a similar trajectory.

There are some anthroposophist who think Steiner has already reincarnated. As supposedly he was asked by someone when he would 'be back' and he said in 80 years which was 2002. This would make the person/male/female about 21. I suspect if this is so this person would have been in a Waldorf School. It would stand to reason these new and vicious attacks would come at a time when this person's impulse would begin to be felt. Ahriman leaves no stone unturned. There will be many more hurdles to keep truth afloat.

I put my heart and soul into Waldorf for 40 years - and still do when asked.

@@ainomirailario5491 it is w...da in Switzerland, whereby production is probably in Germany. I have not looked into Vogel, because I do not use many of their products. The ones I have, seem to be OK, but I have bought them quite some time ago. So that may have changed as well.
@@ainomirailario5491 I am however very suspicious of homeopathic products by he.el because a family with very distinct bad vibes from 70 years ago has bought the company or has a controlling interest. That can have grave consequences. When such people start to take over these companies, they are not looking for profit there, but either to bleed the company out, or to distribute their poisons that way.

I have been studying Steiner for 4 years now and been to a retreat with some Steiner scholars.I have heard a few hair raising things about what is happening and it matches with what you are saying.Its saddening , and I wanted to write that I used to go to a zen monastry for years and that is on a similar trajectory.

Hello Douglas. In minute 42.50 you describe an incident at the Goetheanum where scholars were allowed to criticize Steiner in the sense of calling him a racist and more in the big hall without anybody getting up and putting things right... What was the occasion and what were the circumstances? Who were the critical scholars and who was listening? I really would appreciate knowing more about this.

@@douglasgabriel7886 I appreciate everything that you have said. It is so sad what AWSNA Waldorf schools are becoming. I have felt very alone in the schools I’ve worked at so much so that I’ve actually just stepped into a small public school teaching because I can’t stand how twisted “Waldorf” has become. I will continue studying Steiner and teaching out of his picture of human development.

There are some anthroposophist who think Steiner has already reincarnated. As supposedly he was asked by someone when he would 'be back' and he said in 80 years which was 2002. This would make the person/male/female about 21. I suspect if this is so this person would have been in a Waldorf School. It would stand to reason these new and vicious attacks would come at a time when this person's impulse would begin to be felt. Ahriman leaves no stone unturned. There will be many more hurdles to keep truth afloat.

I can appreciate that you say he did not take the vows & is not (orally/contractually) beholden to them (Jesuits), but in the interview with Lionel, he stated (Douglas' own words): "like you Lionel, I am a Jesuit"...you lost me on that confession. (I hate to say it, but I unsubscribe on that testimony).

TheWolfgang007. I would like to respond to your comment by saying I sense you have misunderstood Douglas's response in this interview with Lionel. I don't hear it as a confession. It appears relative to the moment of that conversation.
Lionel is not a Jesuit - it was a joke. I was a Jesuit, but I was a Benedictine first and also a Trappist.
