Shes such a responsible parent. You can tell shes excited about the pups, she wants them clean and presentable everytime someone is around. Almost as if shes showing off her newborns. So sweet
hey animals have lysosyme in their saliva that keep infections and bacteria away thats why she licks ..... 💜
If you want to know the real reason she's licking... it's to stimulate them to go the bathroom 😅 Newborn pupps cant pee or poop without their mother licking them
Many mammals have their backsides stimulated by their mother in order to do their business. They literally won't go if not. If you're caring for a newborn anything such as kittens, puppies, mice even, you have to gently rub their bits with warm damp cotton wool and then they go. If not they hold it and get sick.

AKACS my cat was pregnant this may and had 4 kittens. She did exactly the same. She would silently call me to the kitchen for a discrete feeding so the other cats wouldn’t try to eat her food and then she would run back to her kittens to feed them. Also another female cat I had decided to be an auntie for the kittens and they raised them together. That was so sweet

@@srso4660 well pigeons are edible (not those city pigeons obviously) but have quite a strong taste, anyway other than that veneason is kind of expensive (I know it is in france but in other countries I assume it is) even I with two uncles hunting once in a week I rarely have been able to eat veneason. So yeah, kind of jealous of this dogo ^^

The meat is great but that diet is missing a number of vital nutrients. I’ve spoken with a number of vets and they told me to stick to dog food due to its completeness. I give mine some carrots or banana each day. He also gets berries or peas or green beans on occasion.
She sure has hearty, healthy meals... no wonder her coat is so shiny.

I know i couldnt afford to feed my dog that way but i buy real high quality dry food for my doxie which is the best i can do for my best friend.

@@michaelt3308 I hope after the puppies are weaned, that they are adopted only by owners who are educated and agree to feed them the same diet Loulou receives. Most commercial dog food is terrible, but the average owners do not realize it. Money spent on good raw food is money that won't have to be spent on vet bills.

Fresh and fatty meat. I thought I'd be grossed out to see Loulou eat raw meat but she ate it with so much gusto and her food looked so fresh, I got jealous, too.

@@floatingpeaks4584 she was definitely checking that they are all there. Had one been missing she would have become anxious and went looking. Dogs are very smart and certainly know how to keep track of their puppies.

Oh, how I love dachshunds! We had a couple and they were the goofiest pair ever.
My grandma had one and it was her best friend
It passed away from diabetes a couple years ago
She was also born on Halloween

@@bendrui since she is nursing at the moment she needs to eat a lot of protein. Protein is the most important macronutrient for her right now, I'm sure that when she stops nursing and having to make milk they'll probably give her a more diverse diet.

This dog receives more love than me, and I'm an actual human being.. . meal prepping, environment catering, and affection!
My dachshund passed away last year, she was 12. They are such a loving and caring breed, she died of heart disease, but we were so lucky to have such a loving companion

So nice to see this dog eating a proper meat meal. With all this push for animals like dogs, which are strictly carnivorous, eating vegan/vegetable only type meals upsets me cause its harming the dog. Giving a dog a meal like this, raw/cooked chicken, beef, rabbit, duck, venison, pork, and quail is giving this momma dog so much nutrients. Those nutrients are gonna be giving to the pups as well through her milk. Congrats to these owners and what beautiful momma and pups. A huge round of applause.
Nicole dogs aren’t obligate carnivorous, they’re omnivorous. It is possible to have them on a vegan diet but it’s really not ideal, you’re better off giving healthy meat meals instead of having to constantly go with veterinarians and use supplements
@@kasairan8492 technically, canines are opportunistic feeders, which means they can eat vegetables too for sustenance, but their optimal diet is based on meat. Felines, on the other hand, can't eat vegetables and they're strictly carnivores. A diet lacking taurine is harmful for them.

Absolutely!! Dogs have been eating this for centuries!! But now Marketing strategies want to make us feel bad to feed them on diets like these! My Basset Hound has a diet based on chicken, liver and fish. I also give her scrambled eggs (with a drop of coconut oil), peanut butter for treats and peas and carrots. Her coat is always bright, her teeth and gums are healthy and her feces are firm.

She has healthy meals, but I noticed that she swallows big sized meat without enough biting. It could be better if it was chopped more, so she can digest better. She seems to digest food well though. What a happy and beautiful dog and puppies! Thank you for sharing.

@@michaelt3308 cutting it down into smaller pieces helps them digest it better especially if they don't chew their food enough. It also slows down the eating as she would grab smaller pieces at a time if it was cut up more.
