  • "Bear Dancers" is a story about a unique therapeutic experience. But more than that, it is a story about psychic resiliency rooted in traditional folkways and how this rootedness can be mobilized to address current problems and community needs. In the documentary, Isaac Cardenas of American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions explains the Bear Dance, a traditional indigenous healing ceremony.

    Thank you so much Isaac
for keeping traditions and share Bear Dance Ceremony. I did participate a long time ago, but the dance is still inside me, once in a while. I thank Great Creator for that, and the People who invited me to join their family. I’m grateful for ever. Thank you Isaac. Marion-Catherine from France

As bear people we honor and respect each teaching from any direction that the message arrives from. When you are right with the ceremony you see a world that our old ones lived in. I am truly honored that you have shared the knowledge.

Non believers...what can u say. This is ancient belief ..20000 yrs BEFORE organised religion ...u should READ SOME BOOKS ON HISTORY AND OPEN UR HEART. I have seen people w .cancer..aids..diabetis..tumors gone . ..thru LAKOTA ceremony . These ceremonies WORK. NOT FOR THE CLOSED MIND..
