It should have been a Superman game, and at the end of the game, Clark seeks out bruce to start the justice league.
That would've genuinely been fantastic. Imagine a quest line where we as Superman have to track down this Bruce Wayne guy since we've got evidence the demon bat is definitely him and we have to convince him to come just a little bit more into the light again. Hell, perhaps this is pushing it but we could've specifically had a story beat where we convince the world the reason why Batman was revealed to be Bruce Wayne was a trick by Batman. He sent the brave mister Wayne in while he waited in the wings just in case things went sour. Then they blew up Wayne manor so Batman could continue his work and Bruce Wayne could get some peace and avoid the paparazzi.
Ikr he has suck a good amount of villains too that could be enough to make 2 or 3 games like zod, darkseid, doomsday, lex, bizzaro

And from what was implied from the cutscenes and audio logs, the League has established themselves in a short amount of time, but a good chunk of time enough to NOT make amateur mistakes like trusting a Kryptonian super A.I. with a discount Zod mindset floating around with a skull shaped space fortress.

Just because of the cryptic message left behind by Calendar Man of "He will return" is them grasping desperately to keep afloat, assuming this game survives long enough to make it to it's first season.
They had nine, NINE years to work on this game that no one wanted. And this is the best they've come up with.
Stop giving these sad poseurs that is the current Rocksteady any credit. They should've known better that trying to rope in the Arkhamverse fans that enjoyed and loved the previous games deserved a proper follow up. And I know blame also lies in executive interference by the DC and WB higher ups for greenlighting this money burning travesty.

There were lots of great options for expanding the Arkham-verse -- including a well-made Suicide Squad game that didn't involve killing the freaking Justice League and Batman.
They shouldn’t even be used on that sort of scale in my opinion. I prefer more covert government missions and infiltrations for informations for waller and stuff like that, not killing the justice league.
What's worst is that Brainaic is SUPERMANS VILLAIN he is supermans arch enemy besides Lex Luthor ( DC has to stop stealing his villains ) and he got duped into taking the League to the ship how narratively convenient.

Brainiac in particular is a bad superman enemy to use for a task force x game because he's one of the most dangerous villains in dc. He's the kind of character that could be used in the movies the way marvel did with thanos building up a big villain over years.

Seems like only Tim got hurt. Oracle wasn’t found by Brainiac Batman, Nightwing had no signs of entry in the batcave, Jason is god knows where (regular Batman doesn’t even know where he is), and Diana is basically magic clay molded by Zeus so she’ll probably be brought back.

I think a Batman Beyond, Teen Titans, or a Green Arrow game would’ve been cool. Maybe an epilogue sequel to Arkham Knight called Arkham Legacy. I imagine Arkham Legacy as an open world just like Arkham Knight but with a more expanded Gotham and maybe even introduce Blüdhaven into the map. The main characters are Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood. The story will be inspired by Batman Battle For The Cowl. Maybe introduce Damien Wayne or Stephanie Brown into the story. You can switch between characters like you do in GTA V. Each of them have their own unique missions, abilities, and gadgets. There’s even team up missions too. There’s some boss fights like Bane, Clayface, Control Freak, Hush, Dollmaker, Copperhead, the main villain is Lady Shiva or maybe Designer.
There's no redemption game for this trash of a game. Kevin passed away already, no one can ever replace Kevin as Batman
Writers need to stop making Superman stupid. Ray Palmer himself said Superman and Batman fill the need for geniuses on the League. Clark is not a naive Boy Scout who makes dumb decisions
If you told me that Brainiac took advantage of Superman's good nature and optimism in order to deceive him, I'd believe you.
But if you tell me that Superman just walked onto Brainiac's ship, with the entire JLA and no plan and no forethought, then I don't believe it. I realize this is just like background info, but couldn't they put a little more effort into making it believable? Say that Brainiac showed up and the JLA was initially distrustful but Brainiac put up a good front and slowly won their trust and then struck after their guard was down. That's still not great, but at least it's better.
They could’ve started the game with an established team with Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Green Lantern. Had Brainiac invade with villains under mind control, Justice League defeats villains, Brainiac can discover the Bat Computer which Batman kept files on how to defeat the League which forces Bruce to come out of hiding to help take down the mind controlled league with the help of the Bat Family and Batman can make a deal with Waller to use the villains already defeated by the League which Waller would’ve made into the suicide squad when she learned that the League was mind controlled so that they can have a huge roster with the Justice League, Bat Family and Suicide Squad to defeat Brainiac.

Suicide Squad: DOOMED
Main Squad members: Deathstroke, Metallo, Cheetah, Godspeed, Black Manta, Sinestro, Gizmo
Synopsis: The suicide squad is tasked with eliminating the legion on Doom who've managed to defeat and capture the justice league after having allied with Brainiac.
Gameplay: Imagine essentially a cross between Sly 2 Band of thieves, Arkham Knight and Spider-Man 2(PS5). You can switch between the characters by returning to your hideout/base and everyone has different missions to complete. Some are joint missions while others are solo.
This sounds cool but bro none of the villains u wrote have ever been on the suicide squad before,it doesnt make sense that godspeed would be with the suicide squad

I've been saying a very long time we should've gotten at least a superman game or a justice league game under og rocksteady because that would've been fantastic and personally for me would've been a great continuation of the arkhamverse, and if it meant this was the end of arkhamverse batman story with the unfortunate death of Kevin Conroy coming out of nowhere and he had to sacrifice himself to save the league to honor his best friends and family like tim drake robin nightwing and oracle I would've been fine with that because that would mean arkham batman would get a great sendoff and we can hear Kevin Conroy batman one more time before his passing at least in my opinion.
What would've been great is if we got a game based on when the Suicide Squad had to break into Arkham and Batman figures it out

I remember when I was a kid, without a next-gen console, only able to read about the Arkham games or watch videos. After hearing about the first two Batman Arkham games, they announced a game called Injustice and All I had to go by were the images I saw. I was thinking, "wow, is this the game after Arkham City? They're going to give the treatment they gave to Batman, that I've heard so much about, to the rest of the Justice League?"
Of course after that I found out it was a fighting game about an evil Superman killing the Justice League. 😢

In all Superman media and his interaction with the JL Wonder Woman calls him Kal El they NEVER ever call him Kal El like that only Martian Manhunter and Diana call him by that name in the league everyone else calls him Clark period.

If they wanted to make a suicide squad game they could've adapted some of the great stories from the comics but no they have to destroy the arkhamverse
All Superman needs is enemies that are strong enough to hurt him, and a meter for saving people. The hardest levels would combine both of these elements. Give him free flight ,as well as super auto flight to distresses in his adventuring mode. So you can either use a little bit of finesse if it's a hostage situation, or land right in front of the bad guys if it's a shootout. Possibly even a public image meter, murdering human villains and such get big negatives.
You know, forget how Batman was easily brainwashed. Green Lantern’s ring kinda confuses me. The ring should actively disallow Jon to be able to harm innocents. And I’m not talking about the Suicide Squad. I mean the citizens. The ring isn’t like the Red Lantern Corps which allows bloodshed. The Green Lantern ring should stop Jon from that. Probably even leave Jon if I remember correctly the way the ring works.
they could have had John as an ally like Wonder Woman and die by Superman’s hands. I don’t want the JL to die but if you want the narrative that the JL is entirely dead, then having an unbrainwashed John fight against Brainiac is a better idea so it provides a bit more actuality to lore instead of the refusal to keep to the lore of a Lantern Ring.

It would make a lot sense if he figured that Flash or Wonder Woman would be the ones to resist brain washing and entrust them with some sort of anti-mind control device and force it onto a mind controlled Bruce. Flash would have been too fast for Brainiac, WW has…uh…
Then Bruce is able to think with WW and Flash on ways to stop the Justice League. Yeah they’re still pretty fresh but Batman would 99% likely already figured out everyone’s weakness, their identity, their past, relatives, and their blood type within a week. Maybe less.
Imagine: Flash and WW get Bruce to come to his senses, they start with the weakest link to the JL that would pose the weakest threat and work up to Superman, likely the greatest threat. They would likely have to put aside their mindset of “We can’t hurt our friends. No matter how brainwashed.” To “We have to do what we can to help Clark resist the mind control.” If Waller’s Suicide Squad helps out the that’s fine. But the JL is most likely the only people to stop the JL.

My plan would have been to have 7 - 8 solo character games like Wonder Woman and Superman and at the end of each game Batman recruits the different members. Then there would be a justice league game where they would fight the suicide squad. After the fight we would have Braniac come and kidnap the members. The justice league would then be rescued thanks to the suicide squad and the game would end

Batman becoming mind controlled is kind of stupid from a narrative standpoint. Not because it's impossible or anything, but just the fact that it's literally a narrative retread.
Like in Arkham Knight literally the prior game before this on, you had played as Batman stopping him from becoming mind controlled mass murdering menace.
To in the the following game he becomes a mass murdering menace. A better hook would of been Batman continuned to function as the Ghost Bat/Demon Bat for x amount of years, gets wind of the Justice League became mindcontrolled and that's what forces him to return, in order to initiate his contingency plans
Batman usually always has final say in strategic situations. The League would have never went to Braniacs Ship and Bruce would have just stayed behind and refused to go on board.
Unfortunately Rocksteady basically ignore Arkham Origins. He was trying to reject help from his allies the entire time in Arkham Knight despite them always insisting. It's what got Robin taken actually.

Another problem with this game is besides Arkham Batman (who we've connected with over previous games), we don't know the rest of Justice League and what they've been through in the Arkhamverse. So when they die, it doesnt hit that hard.

Mainly the JLI or justice league international who were a an extension of the main JLA but del with threats outside america. The team included captain atom, fire, ice, guy gardner, booster gold blue beetle and martian manhunter.
I think having a story where Batman is finally able to trust others, feeling accepted, and having a strong sense that he’s finally where he should be. To only then have him bring down those individuals that helped him out of the dark.
Could have had each of the Justice league members say how they just felt bad for him, while they are under mind control would have been great. To only show them why he’s the greatest superhero among gods.

I've seen this idea suggested a few times, but if we were to have a game where we play as villains to kill the Justice League... why not just make it a Legion of Doom game?
Think about it, Luther, Cheetah, Sinestro, Gorilla Grodd (or Captain Cold if you prefer), and a resurrected joker band together to finally kill the Justice League.
Then you can expand the roster with characters like Deathstroke, Black Manta, and if Martian Manhunter is a member of the League (as he should), bring in Ma'alefa'ak. For those unaware, he's Jonn Jonnes brother from Mars, who has the same powers as him, telapathy and shape-shifting, but is completely immune to fire.
The Hall of Doom acts like the hall of Justice from KTJL, With Mercy Graves acting similarly to Oracle from Arkham, Riddler has a role (he was one of the original 13 members of the legion) bring in Toyman as someone who can upgrade your weapons and gadgets etc.
Then, with DLC's, you could maybe bring in some new members, Giganta, Metallo, Bizarro, Circe, Reverse-Flash, and add in more Justice Leaguers for us to fight.
Don't revive Joker, just use Bane or Hush (a better one than Rocksteady did)since they can pose a physical and strategic threat to Batman
Screw it, I'm playing Justice League Heroes on the PS2, cuz in that game i actually get to fight Brainiac and Darkseid..
Some things that I've come to learn since this game came out is that most of the team who worked on the original Arkham games have pretty much all but left Rocksteady: it's only the same company in name alone.
Second is that there was a company named Sweet Baby Inc who helped write the game: I suggest looking them up

The reason why they make Superman an idiot is because they can’t think of a good way for Superman to be defeated or they’re the people that think “Superman boring” and dislike him.
The writers for this game are definitely the people that don’t understand actual heroes. They’re the people that hate altruistic characters because they do NOT understand them. They’re the people that think heroes should be horrible kill happy monsters and probably unioronically think that the Suicide Squad movie is a “Hero” movie or that the Punisher is a hero.
Themyscira level of tech ranges greatly from writer to writer. I think the Snyderverse made it just like ancient Greece the island and under Morrison they took from the older age of comics where Themyscira is vastly similar to Wakanda. They got stuff like giant kangaroos as pets, ships that can fly, they have a device that produces a purple light that can heal ailments and wounds, it's a technological marvel it's why it's also called Paradise Island. I think the common misconception is it's all shields and swords because that's strangely what they push onto Diana without the more miraculous stuff from her home.
If you are going for comparisons Diana really could be considered like their T'Chala in a lot of ways.

I 100% agree this should've been a Justice League video game. I call the game Justice League: Uprising with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Green Lantern as the first five playable characters. Aquaman, Zatanna, and Martian Manhunter would be DLC characters.
Basically this would be like the Avengers game but better as it won't be a service game.

All they had to do was Put Batman in Wonder Womans role in the story. Obvs the fight with Superman would be different but you get what I mean. Could have been like Batman disagreed with Superman to go to Braniacs ship so he stayed behind and when everyone got brainwashed Bats goes into hiding till the Suicide Squad runs into him. Yall work together going through Bats contingencies Harley gets over her hate for Batman and we have a whole ass character ark for everyone. The premise of this game would've been more better if it was a planned Titans game with Nightwing already established the Titans and he along with Tim, and Barbara and the Titans stopped Brainiac and save the League and maybe put the Suicide Squad just to opposed the Titans who are sent in to kill the League than save them.
Imagine instead of Suicide Squad kills the Justice League, it could've easily just been the Justice League with Wonder Woman being the starter and having to SAVE the League from Brainiac's control

Could have made JL game, could have made Batman makes Contingency plan for this Brainwashed Justice League. Could have used same Arkham bones to have Batman investigate each member, fight Captain Cold/Mr Freeze to get tech to then boss fight and stop/save Flash. Then Sinestro/Scarecrow fight for fear device to boss fight and save Green Lantern, Lex for kryptonite to save Superman, etc for Wonder Woman. Then in surprise 3rd act you play ad some of Justice League.
Another Batman game then a Superman JL game would have sold great.

The whole setup to Brainiac brainwashing the league is stupid af. Superman is a complete dumbass, Batman DEFINITELY wouldn’t have went without a backup plan, Green Lantern’s ring SHOULD have some sort of beacon that goes off if he goes rouge or becomes corrupted, Flash could’ve ran back in time and stopped them from all going and explained why. Also, Wonder Woman is tame AF in this game. Justice League: War, WW and The Death of Superman: WW would’ve taken on Braniac’s whole army and would’ve been getting off to it lmao!
I mean Wonder Woman always been depicted with advanced technology like the purple ray or invisible jet, this unfortunately wasn’t Carried over in the animated series or movie. Themiscyria is always been a Wakanda level island in the comics hence why it’s called Paradise Island

I hope in season 13, or whatever, the suicide squad time travel back in time and save the justice league, giving the league an opportunity to take down Brainiac and throw the squad back into Arkham. That way this game is completely retconned from the Arkhamverse timeline.
