Great! I'm always delighted when i see people like you, taking such care for your little loved ones. You bring planet Earth's hopes about humanity back! Thank you and awesome job! You sure have some very happy piggies in there! Hug them from me! :)
I would love to have a room dedicated to just piggies! Though I'd probably look into getting something like grass installed... I wonder how that would work!
I absolutely adore everything about this cage! the fleece is lovely and the simplicity and chicness you have is to die for. xoxo lots of love from the UK { Lana out }
Thank you for positive such an informative video; recently rescue Paris Arie, and when we got her she was in a bin and no holder for her water bottle since then we have moved her to a large dog kennel in which immediately after set up Paris start popcorning; so she was very much delighted; however, after watching your video we are on a mission to build her one and include fleece; so much to learn thank you so much for positing such an awesome video!!!
This cage is awesome! I have a 2x4 C&C for my two guinea pigs, but i want to expand it to a 3x4. Your cage is inspiring me to build a second level for my piggies! Thanks for being a role model for all the piggie parents out there : D
Great looking cage. We have 2 piggies and are adding 2 more from a shelter, so I was looking for ways to expand our existing habitat. You've done a nice job w/ yours :)
I spoke with our pet store and the advised us not to get anything high for our guinea pig. They have some nice stuff. I like the way you set their home up.
Wow your cage is awesome!! Thanks for the idea. I have a cage that is like 32 sq feet, but it is all flat. We are moving soon to an apt, so this idea will be great to work with.
only think I would say is to be sure to close those openings because they can jump if they really wanted. also I would recommend another litter box somewhere in the middle or on the very top for easy cleaning but hey do you bud, I love this and you should do a quick tutorial on how you made this cause its huge.
Brick stairs! A friend of my in Louisiana enjoyed coffee on her brick patio with her guinea pig and never had to trim his nails because the bricks kept 'em worn down!
@BFarnsey Wow, what a nice cage. Here I thought our 2.5/3 level cage was nice / big, but yours is even nicer. In our defense (lol), your living room is also bigger then ours, so you have more room to work with. I like your idea with the "stairs" from the top floor to the 2nd floor. What did you use there, is it just coroplast wrapped with fleece?
I wish I could've done something this amazing for my little baby, Cuddles, before it was her time to take a trip to that big cuddle cup in the sky. :'-) RIP
Do the pigs have any trouble going up of down the fleece step-things? How high up do you make them from each other or the ground? They seem like a great way to leave more space for running, whereas a ramp takes up a lot of room. :)
looks interesting and funny and good for male pigs to escape from each other in fights. Just for interest: why do you use cloth as ground instead of wooden litter? I often see this in English videos and it is very uncommen in Germany. Don´t you have wood shavings to buy or is it more hygienical?
oh wow ur lucky thats sooo cute! i wish i could have a guinea pig! but all my mum knows is the word "no!" arr what should i do other from just getting one?
So does this thing have a self cleaning bathroom? I mean how does one keep them from "soiling" all that blue carpet and making a daily cleaning nightmare?
I have guinea pigs 3 of them and one prego xD and u can get fake grass put into a room for them to run around theres a type that if they chew or try to rip them off wont hurt them and cant be ripped :)!
I loved your cage! The ramps/steps you made to go up & down the levels is awesome! I'm going to do that myself most probably :) How do you maintain your fleece?
I just got my guinea pig today and right now I have a cage about 2 feet wide and 1 foot long for her, I told myself that next weekend I'd get her a friend and a bigger cage. However, i'm not sure I have the money for it right now. How much would a decent cage for the two of them cost, do you think?
@TheHighlands69 using cloth which is fleece saves on money which using bedding will cost u aproxamently $400 as some say and fleece costs u just a little and u can wash it and reuse it, and for the poop u just do spot cleaning every day and you put it in a garbage bag or you could litter box train them, but thats what i think and do so yeah
love the cage . but what kind of pleats are you feeding them? and they should only have 1/8 th of a cup of pelts a day and one cup of veg and the rest timothy hay . pls don't get a fended I can see you love your piggy's just a little advice is all .
I keep my to boy together ^__^ they're brothers and best of friends, never fight, Btw HOW DO YOU CLEAN THAT! I have enough trouble with a wooden cage and a plastic cage!
yeah yeah how much did u pay for all this material? and i wanna know most is how did u get the fleece to stay DOWN on the floors, cuz i noted u used clips to hold them on the grid edges but how did u make it look almost like carpet?
don't judge you??? man your livinjg room is more then a hundred times cleaner then my families, ours never stays clean. D: amd i LOVE your cage, may i have it? :] just kidding, and don't ou pigs try to jump out the side openings????
It can take up to a few weeks. As long as you keep an eye on them and butt-in as little as you can, they'll be fine. Make sure to give them alot of floor time until you feel they are safe! :3
im getting 2 actualy and i was think of getting the normal pet store cage for when im not home but when i am home i would just let them roam freely is this advisable?
Great! I'm always delighted when i see people like you, taking such care for your little loved ones. You bring planet Earth's hopes about humanity back! Thank you and awesome job! You sure have some very happy piggies in there! Hug them from me! :)

I know this comment is from YEARS ago, but the use of “Lana out” to end your comment is *iconic*
The use of the space was well thought out, and they get exercise too. Good work

Your piggies' house is swankier than yours! :D It always makes me happy to see people who love their animals so much.
Your piggies have got to love you!!
Great looking cage. We have 2 piggies and are adding 2 more from a shelter, so I was looking for ways to expand our existing habitat. You've done a nice job w/ yours :)
Geez can't they easily jump out? But anyway your cage is great!
Dance and Music Academy guinea pigs are smarter than that. They know they could hurt themself.
Guinea pigs don't really jump out of their pen
Unless it's a very low wall and the pig cage is on the ground
I spoke with our pet store and the advised us not to get anything high for our guinea pig. They have some nice stuff. I like the way you set their home up.
This cage is lovely!
u r a awesome guinea pig owner I know that they luv u for it

What a fascinating cage!

your guinea pig must be very happy!!:) ur agood owner!:)
Great cage! I'm wondering how you bend the grids for the ramps, hay rack, etc. Thanks for any further info. :)
What an amazing cage! Don't they try and get out of the sides on the second layer that don't have grids on though?
This is perfect!!
Brick stairs! A friend of my in Louisiana enjoyed coffee on her brick patio with her guinea pig and never had to trim his nails because the bricks kept 'em worn down!
What I like about those pets is that they don't jump off
Wonderful cage I love it can you tell how much it cost you to make in all & where can I get the material. Thanks
this is awesome! You made their Day! or Life! I should say!

@BFarnsey Wow, what a nice cage. Here I thought our 2.5/3 level cage was nice / big, but yours is even nicer. really awsome does it take forever to clean the cage
Very well done. How do you clean the fleech and towels and how often? I'd would have thought that shavings or would better absorb guinea pee and poo.
Hey, this is Feeorin215 from guinea pig cages and I just want to say WOW! your cage is awesome. It looks great! Good job. :)
That loooks so cool
Bert! I love that name:3
Wonderfully done!:)

I wish I could've done something this amazing for my little baby, Cuddles, before it was her time to take a trip to that big cuddle cup in the sky. :'-) RIP

Amazing 🐾💕
This is great, you have lucky piggies :)
Perfect so adorable😍😍😍
My Guineas would be running from one floor to the other non stop.. They are very hyper. They already do that in my 3 story cage. Lol.
So does this thing have a self cleaning bathroom? I mean how does one keep them from "soiling" all that blue carpet and making a daily cleaning nightmare?
LOVED IT!!
do they ever come out with those open spots
i like that cage where did you get that from?
I have guinea pigs 3 of them and one prego xD and u can get fake grass put into a room for them to run around theres a type that if they chew or try to rip them off wont hurt them and cant be ripped :)!
I loved your cage! The ramps/steps you made to go up & down the levels is awesome! I'm going to do that myself most probably :)
How do you maintain your fleece?

omg that is an awesome cage
The fleece doesn't smell as long as you spot clean regularly and no, they cannot be outside all the time due to predators and weather.
Im saving for one of your cages I heard their amazing
@TheHighlands69 using cloth which is fleece saves on money which using bedding will cost u aproxamently $400 as some say and fleece costs u just a little and u can wash it and reuse it, and for the poop u just do spot cleaning every day and you put it in a garbage bag or you could litter box train them, but thats what i think and do so yeah
Sorry if i asked this cause im just learnin bout these lil guys :) but won't they come out of those openings? as i said, just learnin :)
love the cage . but what kind of pleats are you feeding them? and they should only have 1/8 th of a cup of pelts a day and one cup of veg and the rest timothy hay . pls don't get a fended I can see you love your piggy's just a little advice is all .
Guineapigs andmore I don't think he'd get offended by someone who spells offended "a fended" (no offence)
Fantastic!
Wow nice cage :)
Whats the bottom of the cage? It looks like something you could easily scoop up whatever they drop.
wow thats amazing!!
wait, wouldn't your piggies fall while trying to get down and off the ramp?
What tools did you use for bending the grids?
I think I honestly just used the corner of a wall and held half of it over the edge and pushed. It was over a decade ago, so I may be misremembering.
Make more guinea pig videos. They are gaining popularity
I keep my to boy together ^__^ they're brothers and best of friends, never fight, Btw HOW DO YOU CLEAN THAT! I have enough trouble with a wooden cage and a plastic cage!
how do you clean that?!

thats lovely!
im getting 2 actualy and i was think of getting the normal pet store cage for when im not home but when i am home i would just let them roam freely is this advisable?
That looks like a NIGHTMARE to clean :p
I love this
that looks like a pain to clean but good cage your pigs have alot of room
Cant the guinea pigs jump out in the open areas? Nice cage btw. But it seems quite difficult to clean out.
really nice
Don't they poop and pee all over everything? Is it annoying to clean the cage? How often do you wash the sheets?
Holy....How much coroplast & cubes did you buy?
do they ever fight
were u get the c&c cages ??? what the name for it
where can you get coroplast and cubing?
About how much does a good guinea pig cage cost?
