    Great job ,only concern to me is if I was a paying customer I would of insisted the cable was routed under the unmarked rendering in cream.and run along the brick work . End result big black cable not seen on cream wall. But other than that great install.

    Hi mate
    Nice set uo there ! Is your rcbo double too switch the neutral or single pole ? Ive been told its now part of the regs too supply the zappi with and rcd/rcbo protected circuit that switches both live and neutral conductors! Even though the zappi has built on type a and pen fault its not compliant as the built in rcd is on a circuit board

      Hi Max, Yes I have and so has everyone that works for us. The CT clamp is not mandatory in all installations if you speak to myenergi direct, if you also read the installing guide on the CT clamp online you will find this information. This is also the exact consumer unit that BG populate designed for EV charging supplies. Thanks for your comment however, it's helps others who may have the same questions. 👍🏼

    • @Max-cz8by
      @Max-cz8by ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Apologies, I didn’t mean to come across overly critical.
      I know the CT clamp isn’t mandatory and you can negate it’s use through calculating maximum demand. As a Myenergi authorised installer we tend to fit the CT’s as a matter of convenience and best practice.
      It’s worrying that BG are providing EV CU’s with type AC RCBO’s though! I’m sure you are aware that is a major no no?!
