I think plaid is a universal fall thing…it goes for just about any style.
Love the orange and the plaid. Plaid fits well into the farmhouse style, but it also fits into traditional style. You can’t go wrong with plaid.
I think your bedroom turned out great! I too love plaid. When it comes to my decor, I use pieces that make me happy! I call it “my style”; so use those plaid pillows as long as they make you smile. 😊
I love how cozy your room looks with the warm colors. I personally ignore trends and decorate with what brings joy for all the seasons.
I love a lot of pillows, fresh sheets and fall colors with a side of Charlie.
You need a nice old antique dresser or makeup table with some of your fav things like perfumes and a electronic picture frame of the kids. Add a nice oil diffuser.
I always add lights to my trees .In the bedroom it looks so cozy at night and some times I will add fall picks to my tree with the light .everything looks great love the house it's so pretty

I love how your bedroom turned out! I have been missing the way you decorated in your past house. I don't know that this is necessarily farmhouse style, but I think all the warm colors really make it more cozy and inviting. I will always decorate with traditional fall colors. Looking forward to seeing your new hutch decorated!
I would say her style has shifted to a more modern farmhouse style.

Love your choices. Plaid is no fail it can be many things. I think of it alot of the time as kinda a preppy style. But never limited to just farmhouse.
The pop of rust color was a perfert choice to make the room a stand out.
Your bedroom set can go so many directions as well. Beachhouse Farmhouse or just a nutral place to land. It can be anything you want it to be.
My imagination can make pieces seen differently in the incorporating them with differnt styles. I kinda love the mix of old & new. A more eclectic style works so well with mixing things. Just things I love makes me happy.
I have forgotten what Charlie's breed is, can you refresh my memory? Hes so cute! I can't believe he's allready 2. Time moves so fast. I bet he loves the new home as well & the property outside. A beautiful place to roam.

Love what you did but I feel you could go a little crazier! Lol The room still feels so white to me. Maybe a bigger picture on that wall? Or put some sconces on each side. I guess I’m remembering your other house and you had more decor. Those are just my thoughts. I’m no expert!

I think plaid (or tartan as we Brits call it) is just a classic fabric. If you go to any of the fancy country house hotels here in the UK you generally find that they use a lots of check fabrics in their soft furnishings. It’s just classic and classy and very high end IMO

Love how your room turned out. With respect to the fiddle leaf tree, what about wrapping a plaid scarf you may have around the bottom and drape over the planter. Would bring a fall touch to that side. Just a suggestion, still like the tree anyway. Thanks for your beautiful videos!

The way the plaid pillows made you happy makes me think all the more abouy why its so important to decorate with what you truly live instead of the trends. Im finally realizing that WELL into adulthood. And when you do that, that joy is sincere and shines through.
Plaid never goes out of style. They look great. As for green faux trees, I switched my fern tree in a basket in the corner of my Living Room, for some fall beige leaf stems with some added brownish leaves, and it looks amazing for fall. In the winter, Im going to get a birch tree with lights for that corner, because now that I have something in that bare corner, it looks funny without it. Im looking for that candle lighter you showed. Aren’t you having fun decorating that beautiful new home? 🤗🍁🍂

The plaid pillows bring everything together so nicely! They would also look great on the chairs. Maybe bring the euro shams out in front of the white bed pillows, so they stand out more? I think a larger table between the chairs or a tall floral to add some height there?

Your room looks very cozy. As for the fig tree, I have lots of real indoor plants that are for the most part green. They of course are there year round and blend in nicely. A Christmas tree is naturally green as is my Christmas cactus that blooms every year. So to me, the fig could stay out all year round if you wanted it to. I have some seasonal items that I will never get rid of because it's so fun to get them out even after decades of use. Have a lovely weekend. Love from Chicagoland.

Hi Crystal, nothing says fall/winter like plaid does.👍🏻 Your room turned out beautiful. Honestly I leave most all of my regular decor out & decorate minimally around it. I like sprinkles of each season, not where I would need to move too much in or out to make room. You did a great job!! 🍁🍂
