Losing everyone I knew, hurting those I loved the most. Now I have exactly 15 months clean today. I just turned 27 a few days ago, so I guess I beat my old life expectancy. I pray to a God I never thought I'd believe in. Life isn't perfect, I don't think it ever can be, but it's a lot better. Now I listen to SB knowing I made it out alive somehow, finally got free from that living hell, knowing Scrim is clean too, just feeling grateful for having some peace today. I know I am capable of doing a lot more with my life and have dreams I still want to chase, but it's one day at a time and as long as I'm 1% better each day, it's progress and I'm moving in the right direction finally. I thought I was completely hopeless and planned to die in my addiction. Every time I hit rock bottom and thought it couldn't get any worse, it always did. If I can do it, anyone can. As long as you're still above ground it's not over. If nobody believes in you, I dont know you, but I believe in you, in every addict. 🖤

You could start by getting a script for Suboxone, I can help you find a doctor to prescribe it if you want, then slowly taper down from there. I know it can seem cultish, but I recommend going to an NA meeting either way, doesn't hurt, it's helped me and still helping me. Don't give up bro

Good mix, just turned 28 and have no job, a broken down car with $11k in debt, the state filed my cases wrong and the DMV took full advantage, and now I can't even drive to a job if I had one. The state denied financial assistance because my last job lied on the reason for my lay off. They really just wanted someone else to do it for $4 cheaper but caught me clocking in 1 minute late and they had their excuse. Parents denied my 'tism as a child, and now I have zero friends or social skills as a result and no govt agency will help me gain these skills to be functional but won't give me aid, just more fees for failing. I already missed my chance at the 27 club, thanks GF....but if shit isn't better by 36, I'm checking tf out, "from life I fucking retire"
