- Merc C300 from Botswana was hijacked in SA. 3 Suspects arrested and another hijacked BMW that was hijacked earlier recovered. Weapons and ammo found. A successful team effort involving the SA Police Rapid Response Flying Squad and NoJack Vehicle Tracking and Anti-Hijacking Unit

As a South African living in Botswana this is my biggest fear when driving home. You guys are heroes.
The fact that you guys go above and beyond to help victims that don't subscribe to your tracking service is really something. Here's hoping your actions attract many new clients to NoJack.

First off, I really like your videos, and think that you are doing a great job in South Africa. The world needs more people like you.
I have a few legitimate questions which might come off as trolling at first, but I am genuinely wondering about this.
1. Seeing you have fantastic vehicles driving at impressive speeds, what are your fuel bills like per month? (You don't need to say actual costs, I am more interested in knowing how many gallons/litres your vehicles consume.
2. You always seem to arrive quite a while after other guys have already clamped down at the scene. I would think that they would communicate to you if the scene has been secured, yet you still drive at impressive speeds. Is that because they do not communicate with you, or do you still hasten because you want to provide back-up just in case?
3. I notice you cut out pieces of when you approach red traffic lights. You don't need to admit anything (we know ;)). I was wondering, does South African law not provide lenience on reasonable traffic violations for regulated private security the way it does for the police force?
4. I also notice you cut out pieces of arrests (the best parts). Is that to avoid stuff like civil suits, or are you genuinely unlucky with your camera cutting out?
5. I deduce -by the high-end vehicles, great speeds and vast travel distances -that your operations must be very expensive. Yet, it appears that the people you help are not necessarily clients of yours. How are you compensated...or are you a vigilante billionaire like Batman? :)

A1: We have high fuel bills and are not at liberty to discuss the above info.

A2: If I answer the question it may compromise operational and strategic actions and even saftey of the teams.
The videos are not always the full view of what happen and for the safety of us all we do not give certain info and even certain video out.

A3: The Criminal Procedure Act allow for certain action under certain conditions. We always need to assure that our actions are justifiable should there be any queries. The safety of others are always important.

A4: There are rules that we need to abide by.
5. I deduce -by the high-end vehicles, great speeds and vast travel distances -that your operations must be very expensive. Yet, it appears that the people you help are not necessarily clients of yours. How are you compensated...or are you a vigilante billionaire like Batman? :)
5A: The operational costs are high and we fund ourselves. No billionaire batman. In 1987 I took an oath to protect and serve and even though I left the police I have never been relieved of that oath. We now operate under a different mandate from that of the police but still have certain laws within the PSIRA Act and the Police Act and the CPA such as article 42 and the scheduled 1 offences and actions that can be taken in cases of such crimes and also the NRTA that govern all road users.
Some people are doctors others farmers some accountants some police officers and what ever. If you are in public safety and service to your community its not about the money its about loving your people and it all starts with loving your job and having a passion for serving others.
Some people pass people that are in deaths claws but will NEVER get involved no matter what but then there are those who will leave everything and get involved to save the life of the one in need.
It is not a job it is a calling.
That is what NoJack is all about. Serving

Solid, decent, committed people, doing a mostly thankless, and very often highly dangerous job. My utmost respect as a former career soldier, to Anton and his team and all involved in fighting crime.

Salmon Stone I was also arrested (fortunately for me they were corrupt cops from Kempton), but also didn't get handcuffed, no clue why not... I'm grateful towards honest cops, but we do seem to lack the discipline and traning that the US cops get/have...

Depending on your need there are many reliable providers out there. Every service provider thinks his is the best. So we know ours is the best.

These guys had to travel a VERY long way to get to the hijacked vehicle. They need many more anti-hijacking units. Response time is terrible.

They have equipment to break Immobilizer, but they don't know how to buy GPS jammer? They got tool for 10k euros and they can't buy tool for 500Euro? In europe every thief has jammer and you can't spot them by GPS.
