Great video Ulrik, its bitter sweet to see a beautiful restoration of our Guild Inn occupied by a commercial company. Well done documenting an important heritage property in Guildwood.
This brings back a lot of memories great video! I stayed there on New Years Even 1999. A lot of things have changed, but the main building has kept its charm. On the main floor with the fire place and entrance to the Bistro. Across from the Fireplace would of been the hotel's reception desk. The fireplace on the right side was where the guest book would of been. As I have said many changes. For example the original staircase is there, however all the wood paneling that was on the wall is all gone. When I stayed there at the Hotel, I did see 2 ghosts, one in the room I was in, while I was about to sleep, and one not the ghost but foot prints leading from where the Bistro is to the back grounds. I could see the foot prints being made in the snow, but no one there to make them. Otherwise a good video. Did they keep the guest book?
