this game is actually exceptionally good. coming from someone who has played all mainline souls likes released for ps5
though it's very linear, diet souls in terms of level and skill functionality but i love the walls, they make me rage when i'm stuck in red walled areas forcing myself to defeat 4 cheap ass enemies at once. i will say though, this promotes just running right past enemies to those wall checkpoint fights
While i was fighting against 3rd machine boss and her minions i accidently fall into the pit towards the boss from those running treads while dodging cannon brute attack & also those so many flamethrowers due to camera lock on target. But when i spawned the game showed that the acolyte has been slain. Dont know but it is really interesting when a bug help you win against the boss. There is also a bug, where you cant aim your gun, and the bullet sign was also missing from the HUD, i need to the restart the game to fix this bug. Also the most annoying enemy are skull demon, but they are only limited in number like 2 or 3. Then all brutes are also annoying, especially fire & cannon brutes. Fire brutes can one shot sometimes like mantis, but mantis are easier to parry, and cannon brutes are hard to predict.
Can you please tell me if it's a hard game like a souls game?
Plus is there an easy or normal mode if you struggle?

Its a souls game but not very Hard like other souls games. You cant change the difficulty
