Be careful . Samsung have incorporated a booby trap into their system. which blows an e-fuse called the knox bit . Which destroys the security sector of the phone and cannot be undone. This bit is physically blown if it detects tampering such as installing a custom ROM or rooting the phone. Even if the stock rom is re-installed certain apps such as banking apps can detect the Knox e-fuse has blown and simply will not run. I thing some custom ROMS can get around this but I'm not sure. I'm using FloydQ for example and Santander Banking App will not run. BTW. This is an illegal manoeuvre on the part of Samsung. This e-fuse is a physical part of the phone which belongs to the owner of the phone which is certainly not Samsung anymore as they have sold the phone. They are committing wilful damage on another persons property. I think a corporate lawer could make a could case here and sue their backsides off ! If a person buys an item from a store they have 100% ownership of the item to do with as they please. If for example I bought a BMW car and BMW decided to blow the engine up after say 5 weeks because of whatever reason this would plainly be ridiculous.
@@jimmyjones1976 I think there is a strong case there, but sadly I doubt they'll ever get sued over it. I'm actually still running the stock ROM & rather like it, its not too slow, & I've done my best to disable as much of the background services that I can. I think I'll leave it stock for now just because I'm use to it & for the future use a google pixel with GrapheneOS.
@Zaptosis: IMO, while you'll miss the fine-grained controls and modern user experience that newer Android versions offer, there really is no security issue with running the Stock OS. Google uses Play Protect to handle security even on older phones / OS versions, so as long as Play Protect is ON and Google Play Services is kept up-to-date, it's all good. 👍

Oh except the trust issue alert on the top of the screen comes up as a notification saying vendor security patch is out of date but you can easily remove that. I haven't put in a sim card so I don't about the calling part - I'm guessing there are no issues, everything else works perfectly and its fast and smooth too
i did this rom on my s7 all worked but sometime when i try to open the camera it opens with a green screen (not everytime but rarely) it dosent happen to the stock rom

it does not support LTE , so if you have JIO it won't work. Only Samsung based roms have working LTE
