@@andrewhess123 Hi Andrew, Definitely can’t wait for the next video where hopefully you will cover one-to-many relationships for Sharepoint. I’m struggling with this subject and could never get it right.
Yeah that import from excel thing got me too. Drove me up a wall when I tried working in powerapps. Had to redo the data source to get the column names the way I wanted. Great videos man!
Hi Andrew. I made already lots of apps. I use TH-cam and Chat GPD a lot and I learnt everything there. I love the way you explain it and to see the entire process from the start. Especially useful and I want to compliment you for that!! Greetz from Joure the Netherlands!!
Thank you Andrew, cannot wait for the next video. I always learn something new from your videos, today was the sharepoint import from excel function and the field_n names. I always wondered where the names came from in my code.
Hi Mielkew! Sort of, dynamic checklist and based on a dropdown and patch a result to SharePoint? I have a video similar to the topic, not sure if exact, called "Collection Selection". th-cam.com/video/hIDRup4LcHE/w-d-xo.html&t
Hi Andrew, I'd just like to ask, I know it might be a dumb question, but what's the difference between creating it as a solution and just creating it as an app? Thanks in advance and happy holidays! :)
Hi ET, Nope definitely not a dumb question. A solution is like a package and once you have hundreds of apps or flows it becomes very unmanageable, especially across an entire organization. It is also easier to move a solution from one environment to another and there is some functionality that is only available through solutions instead of just an app. Like environment variables. As you start using Power Apps or the Power Platform more and more the reasons to use solutions will start showing. And it's fine to not use solutions at first too! I believe everyone started there first.
Next videos, I'm going to try to knock out many of the questions from comments in all of my TH-cam videos. Feel free to ask more below!

Nice video tutorial, have you made any use case like dynamic checklist based on a dropdown then patch the result in sharepoint

@andrewhess123 Thanks for that explanation, that makes perfect sense!
Can we embed a power-app form in a sharepoint page, so that user does remain within sharepoint environment and update data in sharepoint list?
Yes, you can also embed a power app into a list and replace the form.
