Love this! One thing that always is missed out when there is a Odyssey review is its outstanding sequences. Such sharp industrial sound in oscillators and ring mod! From Kraftwerk to Tangerine Dream to Heinrich Mueller (Der Zyklus, Arpanet) its sequenced plucks and bass are remarkable and cannot be achieved with anything else. Regret selling it everyday!
@The Tired Horizon Appreciate! Actually, i bought the original 2800 slightly after i got a korg module, because i loved the sound so much, kinda went further. They both great and each for its own use. Of course original whiteface sound is very harsh, loud and stands out, hard to mix with new gear (kind of like minimiog), but its common because they build to cut through guitars at that time. A lot of people get rid of them fast, because cant handle them. Revision is much softer in comparisson, witch makes it very easy to add odyssey sound in a modern set up. I agree, superb job by Korg!
I wished Behringer would have only re-done the Arp Odyssey Mk3 only and not the other 2 models from Arp.The sound quality on the Mk3 is fantastic and love listening to this.I can only imagine how profitable this was back in 78.
I had an Axxe Mk II from August 2000 through January 2007. It suffered from o the main design flaw in the revised product line, those keys protruding out from the chassis. The topmost A never did what it should. I had it taken in for repairs less than a year after I received it. Unfortunately, the one who did the repair work did not appropriately connect the appropriate control voltage system for that key; it subsequently only played the pitch of the previous key pressed.

There is only Korg Odyssey with mini keys, Korg Odyssey module, Korg Odyssey full size or just "FS" as it is known and then the non-licenced Behringer Odyssey. There is no new "ARP Odyssey" from ARP. ALL of the Korg ones carry the official "ARP" branding on them though...

Probably the best "osc sync" sound of the old analog classics, not even Oberheim, a sync sound legend of its own, can top this brisk, yet full sound.

The PPC was good for Vibrato but horrible for Pitch Bends. I much prefer the Knob.
