I feel what your saying. We are a tight group and we look out for each other. Just look for people that have the same hobbies as you and you can find good friends like that.
Y’all should probably relax on cutting all those cars off/running those red lights too 😅 that’s how esk8 gets banned in some cities. Some of those riders are really giving people are reason not to like it when it doesn’t have to be an imposing mode of transportation at all, that’s like the whole point lol. Last thing y’all need is local PD searching for you every Friday messing up the group rides. Love the videos though, shoutout from SoCal !
Im 64 and ride everything electric, but always have full gear on. Took a fall last year on my EUC. Pot hole. 2 brain bleeds and drilled holes in t head. Not fun. Full gear guys, and ride responsibly. I ride my Meepo V4 Er. Love it. Keep t speed to what you can run off. Be safe n have fun.
Bro I’m glad your friend is okay but you need to stay on top of your members. Cutting off cars and taking up more space than necessary is the best way to get people to hate you guys. No need to make enemies, much less annoy people who will probably vote to ban you from anywhere that’s not your driveway. Besides that you seem to have a good vibe to your group. Your routes look nice too.

Always the arrogant ones. A few months ago, we had someone eat it hard on an OW, he made tons of posts bragging about top speed and wore no gear for weeks, then he took an ambulance ride. He'd been told about the pushback and didn't want to listen. I drift and slide, all kinds of crazy stuff, but you won't catch me on one of these without a full-face, real knee pads and a pair of slide gloves at the minimum. I've slammed the pavement at 30+ and got back up. No guarantees, but it's a pretty neat trick.
This guy usually rides with a full face helmet, didn't have it with him though cause he was just visiting and didn't expect to ride. ATGATT is the real lesson here

Bought a full jacket, so a few of us keep extra gear in the bag for friends. Where the board goes, an extra helmet and pads go. I rode without gloves a few weeks ago, felt weird - even though I was drifting and dropped a huge hill on the M20. My excuse was that dirt can be a little more forgiving [maybe]. Everything was fine, even going hard. Unfortunately that becomes the excuse for next time. Guess I can't pretend to be immune from that voice.

I’m the “arrogant” guy that fell. Little offended by that, but it is what it is. I enjoy riding and riding hard. Safety is big for me, and wasn’t expecting to ride with the crew that day so didn’t bring my full face. Should’ve tightened my trucks too knowing that they were a little loose. Lesson learned though. Thank God I didn’t have to go to ER that night. Definitely due to the fact that I was wearing at least some type of gear on. And you should definitely come check us out in Miami. Super fun group, with great routes, and good people’s.
Aside from the Fall, (assumed risk) Ur Rides are ALWAYS Chill ..... Makes me wnna get down there !!!!! But the Covid is Dictating things fer now.... Lookin forward to meeting U and the Guys.... Hop
I've been trying to see if there any meetups in the Deerfield area but all I've seen as of late are meetups in LA, NYC, and Miami. Might have to come down to Miami one day.
Nasty! Hope he heals up quick but I definitely agree with a lot of other comments regarding "behaving" a bit more... We're currently getting hammered here in the UK because a lot of people are riding recklessly, causing traffic mayhem and accidents. All that does is ruins it for the rest of us who are trying to set positive examples and push for legalised use.
Dude within the first 15 seconds you’re blowing through stop signs cutting off vehicles and blowing through red lights and riding on the wrong side of the road.. it’s no wonder someone got hurt. If you want respect on the road you have to give it into return. This just makes the rest of us look like asses
He got hurt on a private road no traffic at all just the people who live there. But thank you for your comment but if you see in our more recent videos we ride a lot more respectful

That road is known for having no traffic whatsoever so it is a very nice road to ride and carve very smooth but I do understand what you're saying thank you for the comment
I don't think will have any part of ruining it. Are laws here might be different from yours here in Miami beach we can go threw red lights we are allowed to treat them like stop signs
He always wear full gear he didn't have full gear cause he was in town for work and got stuck here for one day so he didn't have all his gear with him but knowing that he shouldn't have been going that fast.

I use to think 28 and 30 mph on a skate board was nothing. Until I crashed and felt its impact. 20 mph is plenty

Yes he did have safety gear he just didn't have his full face helmet with him he was in town on business didn't have all his gear with him
