Pretty damn good. My best friend ran a 12.2 on a of the shelf stage 2 tune, bolt ons and slicks and I thought that was impressive.
The mk7 platform is just insane.

@Carfacts If they did sure, but they got that slow manual. And if they did add a automatic, you know it'd be a CVT so I doubt it. Oh, and their motor still makes less power so they'd always be behind.
The Si guys have more dedication so it's not necessarily a fair comparison because one team works harder then the other.

How your stock Engine/trans mount hold up with the 034 dogbone and insert? You think they are neccesary or not. Iam going stage 2 soon I thought they were needed because of the tension thats transfer or the dogbone. thank you on advanced!

I Got the 034 billet dog bone mount , 20000kms later My pendulum mount snapped and engine mounts are cooked!
If you're planning on going further than that stage 2, you'll need to upgrade motor and trans mounts for anything higher if longevity is what you want

Wild trap speed for an IS20... they're torquey bastards so with good tires they can ET pretty well for what they are.
Its impressive to see, but I guess in my mind I think how easy it would have been to do an IS38 with minimal mods and maintaining your interior/comfort.
But I'm not chasing records so I can't really speak to that, well done that would be enough to piss off a lot of cars.

Is it me or did it bog down for a split second at 1:47/1:48 mark? Or was that a slightly early gear change? Could just be me... Not sure. Nevertheless, sweet ride and run. Not a Gti fan whatsoever but I respect their potential big time.
nallis01 I let off to avoid overboosting during those runs. My clean run that wasn’t on film was my 11.58 run. But 117 traps with letting off and getting back in🤷🏽♂️

Daniel Cofield thats and accurate statement. This 4 full pass skips I have with this file are as follows 11.8 at 114, 11.69 at 116, 11.66 at 117 11.65 at 116 and 11.58 at 116. Lol

NerdGenius that’s the game you play when you’re stuck in line for hours while the car cools down too much and if it idles too long it’ll start heat soak. 160 is fine. No issues
