Before IvyPark, there was House of Dereon, which also failed. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Beyoncé's fashion ventures. It's true that creating a successful clothing line can be a difficult feat, even for a celebrity as popular as Beyoncé. It's possible that her fashion ventures didn't connect with audiences outside of her music because fashion is a highly competitive industry with constantly changing trends and tastes. Ivy Park would do well if they just made clothing like Lululemon and the prices were not to expensive (not saying they have to be cheap). It’s definitely basic BUT it would still be a hit cause it’s clothes that you can comfortably work out in or just run errands with. Look at Kim’s clothing line. It’s simple clothing but it’s stuff that anyone could wear at anytime. Another thing that would help her brand is ppl seeing her wear her own brand but she’s a really private person and is barely seen. I think Ivy Park has potential but I just feel like Beyoncé or her team don’t care enough to sit and talk about how they can make it better.
Beyonce is not a fashion girl. She may have a moment or two but she’s not a person we look to for fashion. 🤷🏽♀️ Her thing is music. She should produce more n not just her projects. IJS. Let’s focus on Chloe… 😫 Cause sis is hurting right now.
IMO, Ivy Park (with ADIDAS) was all over the place. Is it active wear?? If so some pieces don’t seem functional for vigorous movement. Is it street wear? Business casual wear?? 🤔Mmm…. Maybe, but again the active wear aesthetic clashed with a lot of that. Although I loved her creativity, for me, the whole brand had an identity crisis and thus I never looked at it as something I personally wanted to wear. 🤷🏽♀️
This isn’t a surprise. Ivy Park was not it. The pieces were ridiculously extravagant but supposed to be “casual wear”??? Htf does that make sense? She’s going to drop latex athletic wear??? No one was going to wear that. Sorry. Beyoncé is just not a fashion influencer, she’s not Kim K. Also, she could have thought of a better name. “Ivy Park”? Not good enough or catchy enough or even synonymous with “Beyoncé”. Like what was that cape thing???
She always been private and never put herself out there to connect w her fans . And she too much of a queen then being normal . That y peoples don’t cares
The designs are a 🤏🏽 generic & the IVY PARK name being so large on the clothes made things feel a lil tacky. It doesn’t help that the name isn’t that cool, it just focuses on Beyoncé. But what if you don’t even like her music? Then the name ivy park loses meaning and.. the designs are mid!! So why would I buy
Stop spreading misinformation Adidas never claims that and that collaboration was a limited addition and always sold out she's been working with balmain before releasing her renaissance album so
While we were thirsty for promotion and interviews of Renaissance she was trying to sell clothes to us 😂 she really thought she would get away with this easily and now has to overcharge tickets to her concert to fix these damages
I think her clothing failed because it’s just ugly. And not wearable for the everyday person. You couldn’t even work out in the clothes and they looked to crazy to wear it out to run errands. I like Beyoncé but I don’t think clothes is her thing

This narrative that Beyonce isn’t a fashion girl but Rihanna is just boggles my mind. Beyoncé has so many iconic and mimicked outfits that have stood the test of time. Rihanna I think had a few strong years where she had a lot of jaw dropping red carpet looks but her outfits from her music videos and performances have been very forgettable. Beyoncé also has had some outstanding red carpet looks. Beyoncé also has been curvier than Rihanna, Rihanna’s best fashion looks was when she was basically a model size 2, ever since she put on weight and had her pregnancies her fashion has gone downhill. Her fashion also wasn’t standing out during the first three albums of her careers. And there have been plenty of times where Rihanna has copied Beyonces look especially since putting on weight yet people praised Rihanna for the same look while shamed Beyoncé even though they look the same. Comparing Rihanna to Beyoncé for fashion makes no sense because selling makeup vs selling clothes are two different stories. Let’s not forget that Rihanna’s luxury clothing brand did fail within less than a year of its release. Also SavaGE fenty has been called out for scamming it’s customers with its suscriptions that people can’t seem to get out of. And I don’t honestly see people wearing that much of her lingerie line and I always found it to look cheap and ugly. There’s a reason why all the celebrity makeup brands are selling well. It’s easier to sell even an expensive piece of makeup than an expensive piece of clothing. You can easily justify buying a $50 of makeup than $100 of clothing. It’s just annoying to me why people are comparing a makeup company to a clothing line. Clothing line wise Rihanna and Beyoncé both didn’t do well.
What’s an iconic Beyonce outfit? Let’s be real here because no one mimics Beyoncé’s fashion she has not created trends like Rihanna. You mention Beyonce red carpet, but no one cares but they do remember Rihanna’s yellow dress, her diamond dress, her pregnancy looks etc. You’re obviously one of her delusional fans because savage fenty is doing great, yes her fashion line ended but that’s irrelevant as all her other venture are doing fine and she deserves her props for smart business unlike Beyonce.
@@weluvfood2865 I listed a bunch of Beyonces iconic outfits and how people like the Kardashians have copied Beyonce. Maybe read a little. Do you know how much Beyonces pregnancy announcement outfit was mimicked? Are you this delusional?

Her clothing line is like her acting….. not it sis 🚫🫣
😂😂😂
When she took that award she almost parroted what Aaliyah had said about her own grandmother being a seamstress and so on a so forth.
Why are you bringing up Aaliyah and bashing Beyoncé?
@@bmwjourdandunngoddess6024 That's not the definition of bashing.
Wait I wanna know! Not a Beyonce crazy fan, just wanna hear your opinion
There’s proof that her grandmother was a seemstress way before she got that award.

You mean the leotard chaps were not a hit? 🤭
😂
😂😂😂And she looked stank in it too… and not in a good way
tbh her bussiness team need to be fired asap
her marketing sucksss
the way she is soooooooooo huge and still fails to use that is ridiculous
1st of all she decided to sell a product that does not resonates with her
just a luxury brand named QUEEN B which sold luxury items like wigs would have easily made her BILLIONAIRE (even tho ik she is already a billionaire)
but she could have surpassed many other celebs easily
It was a MESS GIRL..
She always been private and never put herself out there to connect w her fans . And she too much of a queen then being normal . That y peoples don’t cares
It was too expensive. Plus it would sale out before you could make a purchase anyways. I was fortunate to get 3 pieces.
9:09 Topshop and JD. Maybe only in London (UK)
Sold out but loosing so much money? Like did half the people that purchased returned the items? A PR brand if there ever was one.
Them girls at the 12 minute 40 mark lord have mercy. 😂
Beyoncé doesn’t give me sporty. I’m sorry.
Stop spreading misinformation Adidas never claims that and that collaboration was a limited addition and always sold out she's been working with balmain before releasing her renaissance album so
Beyonce “fashion is more than your physical appearance”
Gets BBL, lipo, boob job
I’m sure COVID didn’t help either. But I wasn’t buying any of it anyways.
But Kanye’s clothes worked?
I wouldn’t want to wear something that had a big IVY PARK on it. Too expensive also.
You do know that adidas dismissed that 200 million claim and that Beyoncé partnership with adidas was only for 4 years.
Hello, thank you for your comment. The Adidas x Ivy Park partnership was supposed to end at the end of the year 2023. Adidas has actually decided to part ways with the brand before the official end of the partnership.
Nice try, but if Ivy Park was successful, Adidas would've renewed their contract with Beyonce, instead of ending it early. Accept it, the line flopped! Beyonce just needs to stick to music and touring.
@@mystique180it doesn’t matter if adidas would want to renew it, Beyoncé would have to agree with it since she owns the line idiot. She wasn’t even promoting the line anymore like she was in beginning and adidas dismissed the very claim y’all are sprewing in the same article he is pushing 😊
@@the_grooveadidas did not decide to split with the brand before it was Beyoncé. Please check the facts. They are still planning to release more ivy park until the end of the year
That statement was released to fool people like you. The WSJ has not retracted their claims. Someone leaked those documents. Addidas was loosing too much money.
In my personal opinion, if you can’t make clothes that are affordable, reliable and relatable to the public, it won’t work…. That’s why I shop at Ross. My hard earned money ain’t going to no rich celebrity
Ivy Park will end up at Ross anyways so
She failed dropped outta high-school at 15 to form destiny child she's an entertainer not a mogul in anyway 😂
And now she’s taking the same tacky designs to Balmain to flop again 😐.
Literally.
Maybe she tried too hard to appeal to a mass market? Maybe creating niche, expensive brand like Supreme could've worked better. Obviously the profit margins would've been thinner, but then it wouldn't come across as generic as it was this time around.
Congratulations! Mrs. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter on your Historic Grammy Win! Beyonce is too doggone busy! It's worth one bilion. What fall?
one billion in inventory and inflated projections you mean.
@@oscarrimore no, that's how much it's worth, not inflated projections. Do research
Ivy Park was A MESS CHILD ...the Cowboy chaps, long jackets and leather. Too much going on and it didnt make sense 🙊
Rihanna goes out...Beyonce stays at the house or hides going out. One is more seen.
@@TinaB111 What does this have to do with what I said ?
I’m more of a Beyoncé fan but bffr. Rihanna’s line did do well compared to Beyoncé’s. Also Rihanna has WAY more iconic looks then Beyoncé. Rihanna literally has the title of “fashion icon”. Beyoncé has cute looks but not a lot of them have been considered by the public and fashion world as iconic.
Ivy park it's just a terrible name... It looks like they were targeting the wrong audience.
Adidas needs to bring Kanye back that’s just it 🤣🤣
There's only one Kanye West 😊
She can only sell music ,everything else sucks
Ivy Flop
Another one of her flops.
I buy a lot of things- her products never! She just doing anything now-
