Animals suffer so much in the world and you feel powerless to help them. I am vegetarian/vegan and help animals through petitions etc and so this makes me feel better.
Thank you Thay, for your beautiful wisdom and dharma talks, a most precious legacy. The Buddha's teaching on the Four Noble Truths are a powerful tool for anyone who desires to change their eating and lifestyle habits. By viewing the Four Noble Truths through the eyes of the billions of farmed animals, we see the truth of suffering and the cause of suffering. We also see that we can stop this continuous cycle of suffering by choosing to embrace an ethical vegan lifestyle, for the animals, for humanity and for our Mother Earth.🙏❤
I saw in indian’s market animals mostly chickens and rabbits closed in narrow cages exposed to the sun, waiting for their death ! How to accept such cruelty ? This is the animals suffering and people are indifferent ! This make me miserable . I am vegetarian of course . I wont to help those poor animals and I wrote to the bleu cross in india FB . What to do ? 😢
I would love if Plum Village would add closed captions to more / eventually all of their videos. Many people who are deaf or hard of hearing would appreciate this resource as well as people with auditory processing disorder, ADHD, etc. I love the Plum Village app and meditations and I am not deaf. However, sometimes I have difficulty understanding what Thich Naht Hanh is saying because he is soft-spoken. 🤍 I know many people would volunteer to help transcribe the videos and it could be a group effort. Please consider this.
Thay's gentle humbleness and great wisdom is very much missed x
Beautiful light. Veganism is the best thing that has happened to me. I agree humans who eat meat are off kilter with perptual short-sightedness.
Thank you so much! I always appreciate listening to Thay. I miss him so. 🙏 Now i breathe with him.
Compassion for all beings, regardless of whatever form they happen to be.. ❤

Put the poor things out of their misery...Only takes a moment to place that little lead pill...

You can turn on auto-generated captions, which I use :)
