  • Definite improvement from the other ones I had in these ammo cans. I started off with a 40mm, then a 50mm (lower CFM), and now these. 50mm is a great size for keeping things cool inside these DIY solar generators. They are made much better than the other ones. The 2-pin wires are tinned and easier to strip. Sound dB is about the same. Current draw is about 200 mA (about 2.5 watts). But, the airflow is MUCH improved. Great purchase!

Lastly, this is my backyard/channel...like it or leave it. There are no "bad" videos out there (you can actually learn a lot from others who do things differently or are learning). So, have FUN while your here, learn something, and make the world a better place.

      If not, get a Noctua fan.. have one on my ham radio node that's been on 24/7 going for 4 years straight so far.. no issue whatsoever.. plus I like that you get get the bigger 120mm and 140mm in a waterproof version.. ammo cans are looking good Chris!

      *Thanks man...appreciate it. Just sharing what I do. Might be good. Might be bad. Who knows, might inspire/motivate someone and help them out with their projects or passions. I just get the camera out, get funky with some editing (adding music, transitions, endings) and upload video for the world to see. I make, like, $0.0002 per video doing these. Good info on those Noctua fans...will take a look-see online. Thanks*

    Those are pretty "cool". Wish I had your budget for projects, but I don't make the big YT cash like you do. Maybe I can talk my gf into getting a second job?

      *You'd make more with a second job...YT (esp after 4 yrs of doing videos) barely covers three cartons of Marlboro's per month. Pretty much can say whatever I want because I don't make enough to give a shit*

    • @FernbarkFrist
      @FernbarkFrist 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris DIYer holy smokes. How much do Marlboro cost? I am hoping less than $100 a carton

    • @ChrisDIYerOklahoma
      @ChrisDIYerOklahoma  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      About $70/carton around here. So, multiply that by three...YT take home is where I am at. Ridiculous after FOUR fucking years and 900 videos. So many other channels doing 10-20x better...with shitty content
