@@brandonlbrigman Perhaps… However, even as a boyfriend - he too can equally be considered a good friend. I find it a breath of fresh air when viewing the travels in the camper van. The ability to be free from the regular handcuffs of daily life, have the ability to discover different parts of your country, and others too - allows you to learn, relate, discover and widen your mind from the entrapment or blinkered opinions of just those within one place only.
Ethan is the cutest and I'm happy that his friend is okay. Im glad they can continue with traveling.

As some that is probably old enough to be your father or the very least a much older brother...the fact that your friend and his dog were not injured is a major plus in this scenario. He can get his van fixed. It will be a lot to build out another vehicle. "Totaled" is strictly if the cost of the repair at a "normal" shop exceeds the "book value" of the van. If it runs well, he should keep it. He can buy it back from the insurance company very cheap, and get it fixed at a low cost shop. I've done it with two vehicles I've owned. It's worth it.

I can only say that for living in restricted quarters and minimal storage space you really do pack a lot of living into your homes on wheels. Ingenuity at work. I am so greatful to God and glad you both are safe and free from injuries and fault free. It wil take a few days for the shock to work out but at least together now you can focus on truck 2 🤔and plan the next chapter.

Seems that your friend buys you flowers each time at the gas station. Among those are red roses. How nice is that! It says a lot, mainly that he is very caring. But I've seen chrysanthemums too. Normally they are used for funerals. But well, it's the intention which counts.

In today's video, your friend made out very well. First of all he wasn't hurt in the accident and secondly he knew he could call on you to help him when he needed it. It's a great testament to not only your character but your value of friendship. While I understand that your traveling and camping together but I've known some people (but not for long) who would just say "glad you're okay, see ya when ya get back".... When you have a head injury going on a hike is not a good idea. Sometimes head injuries involve small bleeds in the brain that can become large bleeds when the blood pressure increases with activity. If you have a head injury you should stay home and chill out with others around you that can identify and react to signs of a stroke or other medical events. Give your body time to know if it is really ok. Hiking away from people just increases response time for medical or makes it not even possible due to communications concerns. Hiking is not good for head injuries. Please be careful. We love watching you.

Glad your friend and his fur baby are OK! It's not totaled, I've rebuilt WAY WORSE. Would offer to help to get it fixed back, but I'm a little far away and I sold my shop a couple years ago. Hopefully the insurance pays him good on it. Just sucks he had it built out and now it's gone and you two have to deal with the headaches. Stay safe and have fun...

I experienced the exhilaration and some of the trials of travel camper/vehicle/travel trailer touring as a mere child, while Mom & Dad took us almost *everywhere* in the Continental US... but from that young POV, where it was Dad and Mom who did almost all the work, to seeing you here as an adult... am I glad I live indoors... well, yes and no... so it's going down memory lane, bittersweetly and fondly, watching you and your travels.
