Electric Rivian R1T Truck and R1S SUV Production Factory. As of 2020, the company had four primary locations. Its headquarters in Irvine, California, is dedicated to vehicle engineering, and design, propulsion and battery system development and commercial functions. Rivian's location in Plymouth, Michigan, is dedicated to focuses on vehicle engineering, prototyping, supply chain, and accounting. A facility in Palo Alto, California, develops self-driving technology and data. The 2.6-million-square-foot (240,000 m2) factory in Normal, Illinois, manufactures vehicle components such as battery packs. The Normal plant has a paint shop, robotics, stamping machines, and other production equipment, such as injection molding. The company has additional office locations in Carson, California, and in Woking, England designate when? for electric power conversion and advanced engineering, respectively.
In October 2021, Rivian made public plans to grow the facility with a 623,000 sq ft (57,900 m2) addition to be built on the west side of the existing facility, in a third amendment to the facility's site plan, which if built would bring the total Rivian facility size to 3,900,000 sq ft (360,000 m2).

Incredible 180 kW of battery .Woow it is "GREEN". To offset the CO2 produced for manufacturing the battery this car will have to go from Earth to the moon and a Lil bit back. And only if the energy is coming from a renewable source. ONLY. Practically this car will never be greener than a small diesel car. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR. How many cars these days drive over 400 000km? what a scammmmmmm.

No it wouldn’t, it takes approximately 30,000 miles of highway driving to offset the additional carbon emissions of producing an EV. This is comparing a similar electric car to the internal combustion counterpart. Also, these batteries do commonly last over 400,000 kilometers. There are Model S's that have over 300,000KM and as the density of batteries increase as well as the thermal cooling capabilities increase, this number will only grow bigger. A simple Google search would suffice, so take a look bud!

I'm curious, have you compared the carbon cost of producing a complete typical ICE. hybrid or PHEV vehicle, engine, drivetrain, etc. compared to a full EV? I'm just curious and would really like to know how that comparison plays out.

There is zero scientifically valid evidence Rivian has a better painting process than Tesla. It is is simply an assertion. Companies that rate vehicle quality will take at least a year from now to publish Rivian results.
