Sorry found a slight error in your video. You said that you'd need to reach escape velocity to stay in space (which is something like 11km/s), this isn't true. This is only true if you're aiming to get outside$(completely) of the gravitational field produced by the earth (aka going infinite distance away from the earth). To get into orbit you only need to reach a fraction of this speed depending on the altitude of the orbit required.
