    David, this was an excellent review. I’m seriously considering upgrading from my existing labeler. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks Tony. I debated with myself for quite a while before I bought this libeler, thinking it was a one-time issue for me when I re-do my rack. However, as I thought about it, I will never stop 'redoing' my rack, and may even create a second one. Not to mention all the outlet and other miscellaneous cables I have connection up power and other equipment. So I took the plunge. I have no regrets 🙂

      @@PE4Doers did you research any other brands? What made you choose this brand and model?

      @@QuikTechSolutions I had seen it used by other Networking TH-cam creators and it seemed to have a lot of options. The labels are a bit more costly than I would have preferred, however I heard one guy, Mactelecom I believe, mention how strong the labels were and how well they adhered to the cables. So I decided to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised that the basic unit included a full-length cartridge of the exact size and type I wanted to have (and did order at the same time). So now I have two. I also plan on ordering the 3/8-inch tape as well, since that would allow me to use it for some thick electrical wires with a width more in line with how I want to label them.

    Thanks for the video. I was provided one for work a few years ago and I like it. I figured it could do more than the simple labels I was doing, which is why I came across your helpful video. The only downside I've found to this label maker is that it will eat through the AA batteries when not in use. Therefore, I store it with the batteries removed. Doing this, I've used the same 6 batteries for a long time.
    Did you do a follow up video for the Brady label maker?

      No, I did not, and I regret that. To be honest, my biggest complaint is the excessive cost of the labels. I'm not sure what we can do about it, other than understand that those most impacted are those that use it professionally and they can build that into their margins. To be straight though, I am still on my original label cartridges aft nearly two year.

    Very helpful video - thanks - I just bought the successor to this label printer - the M210, which is pretty much identical.

    Do you have a video doing the heat shrink labels for electrical wires?

    • @PE4Doers
      @PE4Doers  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm afraid not. I did not acquired those labels for the printer so far, but I've watch other videos showing them used very effectively when the proper use case was being addressed.

    I'm a bit late to comment on this, but thank you. It's exceedingly difficult to find a human, besides entirely corporately or artificially sponsored, reviewing niche products that few buy once every 5 or 10 years. This is a sight for sore eyes. 🎉

      Thank you for the nice comment. I am definitely human and flawed as most humans. Let me know how it goes for you using the BMP-21.

      If the batteries are fresh than you may have a defective unit.

    Estas impresoras salieron malas, no use una impresora por 6 meses y la pantalla quedo solo iluminada, otra no quiere hacer nada, dentro se escucha como que algo esta roto.
