When you finish showing the Backstory (including her conversation with the traveler from her point of view), you can make them react to Furina's La Vaguellate trailer, obviously giving a context of the entire Story Quest of her Legendary Mission
i love furina sm 😭❤️ relate to her a bit too much as well also, something that people haven't seemed to realize just yet is this: TW FOR DEATH AND DEPRESSION furina could not possibly acclimate properly back into society. and ik that genshin isn't necessarily one to be super realistic, and that they probably don't have the time to focus so heavily on her process of getting back into society - and, also, that furina certainly wouldn't stop pretending (which is realistic so i will give them that) because old habits die hard and she most likely is scared of showing her true self still. i also know that neuvillette is offering her help (as proved by us asking him at the end of the fontaine archon quests and him sharing that he's giving her at least the basic necessities), but also... is she getting therapy??? are there even any good therapists in teyvat, if any therapists exist at all? would she manage to even get over her 500 year old habits before she dies??? would she truly ever feel that she could open up? not to mention, it's not just the lack of therapy, it's also the fact that she isn't going to be around the very people she saw so often anymore. neuvillette, who is literally the only person who wouldn't have died on her during those 500 years and therefore she would've probably gotten close to, is someone she most likely wouldn't be able to bring herself to see again out of fear or because neuvillette is too busy. clorinde, who may not have been around her for those 500 years and is probably one of many bodyguards, is still somebody that she knows she now has the opportunity to act herself around but clorinde is probably elsewhere doing other stuff now. if clorinde isn't, and she is still acting as a bodyguard of furina, the same thing as earlier: she would be afraid to show her true self. also there is NO WAY that her character trailer is showing her true self, just gonna throw that out there not to mention, furina sure as hell does not know how to actually socialize. did she have those one on one meetings? yeah. did she have to address large groups of people? yeah. but did she know how to actually socialize and be herself while doing so? certainly not. pretending to be someone who is social does not mean you actually know how to socialize when that mask is taken away. furina would definitely be hit with so many existential crises, relapses, you name it, after the TRUE reality sets in that she doesn't have to play as a god anymore. when she discovers that nothing will ever, ever be the same as the way it was for 500 years which she was so used to, she would not know how to actually function. and due to her habits of not showing her feelings, she would not be able to truly reach out. it's like nobody in fontaine realizes this either and it pisses me off so much. are they obligated to help? no. but is it kinda stupid that nobody even thanks her besides focalors, who pretty much manipulated her and then immediately died without telling her the full story? yes. and while neuvillette may not understand human emotions as well as actual humans do, that doesn't mean that he isn't capable of feeling despair or sorrow for furina, or that he isn't capable of missing furina when she too is the only person who hasn't died on him for 500 years (besides melusines, which would've not been around for at least 100 of those years and would've also taken much longer to acclimate into society due to humans being assholes). while i'm sure he does really feel that way and doesn't know how to express it, it still annoys me. especially when he shows MUCH MORE emotion towards focalors, and MUCH MORE emotion towards the traveler. both of which he literally has not really known. and i get that neuvillette didn't see the whole of furinas side and only knew the things that focalors told him, he also showed much more attachment to focalors than he ever had to furina 💀. tldr: furina is not acclimating back into society. there is no way shes showing her true self. also, everybody in fontaine is ignorant for thinking so when it's obvious how clear that she is not mentally stable during her trial. sorry just had to have my daily yap session about furina

TW FOR DEATH AND DEPRESSION
furina could not possibly acclimate properly back into society.
