Its literally the whole plot of the fontaine story arc... how focalors plotted to destroy her throne and end the hydro archon line with her so that Neuvillette could regain his dragonhood.

Fun fact, in the scene where we see Furina's hat hit the ground is a reference to how a persons head would fall when they are guillotined, btw, the way Focalors tilts her head to show her neck just as the giant sword hits her is also to reference how a guillotines blade would fall on the unlucky individual, quite a dark little easter egg they added here.

I hope Hoyo is gonna nake a story quest with both Neuvillette and Furina back together... Kinda like the Sinulanka quest, but with them, and maybe the archons?... Here it is necessary to pity Nevilette, and not her, she got what she deserved, so to speak. It was not necessary to create a bunch of stupid and wrong rules to put people in jail for every little thing, Nevilette himself understood this. I am glad that Nevilette will rule Fontaine, he is the best who fits this place.

With the hydro throne gone no one will be the hydro archon since focalors given the stolen back to the dragons and with furina being mortal now no one will ever be the next hydro archon since celestia was the one who made the archons
I wonder how the hydro's eyes will be distributed now, or they won't be there now. For myself, I personally chose a hydroarchon and this is Nevilette. The most interesting thing is that the throne is broken, but the Heavenly Order has not come, which means that something has happened in Celestia. After all, according to Nahida, if you destroy the gnosis, then the heavenly order will appear, and we destroyed the throne, which was literally located in Celestia.
