    Hi Guys from Suffolk Pizza, Hadleigh is my local village, great Video👍 spent the night at Borley church many moons back, scared the hell outa myself, although the residents are far more scarier than any ghosts😂😂👻

      That's so true, they really do not want anybody there. So I would be more afraid, as you say, of the residents lol 👻

    Gutted that I wasn't walking on the Railway Walk on the day that you were both there. Have lived in Hadleigh for 30 years and I'm hugely interested in the paranormal, I myself have seen a few spirits in Hadleigh, and I've heard of some, and been shown a photo of a full outline of a person, which was also taken in Hadleigh.
    Would love to be a paranormal investigator myself and go to all sorts of locations with a team of people, wouldn't know where to start though. My name is Jack Kenny, I'm currently logged in to my mum's TH-cam account.

      Hadleigh certainly has a lot of ghostly stories and hauntings, that's for sure. Hopefully when this lockdown is over, Amy and myself would like to meet some of our subscribers on some of our investigations - so watch this space lol.
      P.S. If this will help, look up 'Ghost Hunter Jase!!!' it's a Facebook group run by Jase for paranormally-interested people (we've done investigations with him before) 👻

    This is a great change-up to the churchyard videos. Any chance in the future of covering St. Mary's at Hadleigh? My father's mother was baptised there, along with great grandparents in the Fenn family. Lets hope for good weather ahead! Thanks again!

    Great again👍🏻 wonder whether you had a ‘navi or navvies ’- I believe thats was what the groundworkers / diggers where called ? , largely of Irish decent ? Just an idea, i know lots died sadly whilst working on the railways.

      Knew the history of this little railway as I'm not a railway fanatic but I do find some of the history fascinating. The Irish dug the majority of canals before the railway and then helped build the railways. The thing I find sad is probably this man's family never knew what happened to him

    I grew up around there in the 70/80's and been up and down there many a time, before the housing estates and station was converted into yet more housing.
    All that time - nothing, though did hear the story - mostly from people in Raydon and dare say was just to keep people away.
    Now the Churchyard at night near the main Church, that had that hammer horror vibe, nice cold night, bit of fog - choice atmosphere.

    • @suffolkspooks1619
      @suffolkspooks1619  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Always thought the story of the headless horseman was an urban myth, but I think there's a little something there. Might have a look at nighttime and see if the vibes are any different

    • @paulgray1318
      @paulgray1318 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@suffolkspooks1619 Might want to check historic deaths on that line when active and during construction. Maybe some truth to the myth down the line (no pun intended). Rider comes across line, horse spooked by warning whistle of train and rider falls off onto line, decapitated and tada - that may of happened as more horses in the early days and certainly been used for hauling coal before the train and certainly been a transition period. That with health and safety of the era and the odds of such an accident transpiring are certainly higher than today's mindsets would foresee.
      Still, a lovely walk and definably worth walking in all four seasons so you can appreciate it, equally checking out the top of the banks, couple (or was) old war bunkers, fair few in the area in general (or was). So much history and old buildings in the area. Which gives the whole area that kinda something else vibe.
