That is surely useful. If you defender is stronger than the attacker, then you have another weapon to use against him. Usually, wing attackers are fast and eligible, but they have low physical contact, so if you want to block a winger from invading or crossing, just jockey and you have good possibilities to block his move while retaining the possession and launch a counter. Have a nice time.

Great Vid as always 😉 one question. How can you pull Back strikers? I mean grab opponemt player and pulling Back. CPU always do it but i do not know how. Tappong x?ita risky because of yellow cards. Special control+x? How, really annoying me :( thx in advance

Love your videos, great content. Any help with this would be much appreciated, I have Thomas Partey in my Squad for Myclub but he is still classed as a player for Athletico Madrid! Is there some way I can update him to Arsenal or is this a Konami problem? It would help with squad rating when Arsenal are included in Matchday. Thank you

hey spoony! thank you for the quality content! I was wondering what game duration do you recommend for realism? Im playing at 15 mins, but I think ideally it should be somewhere between 10 and 15. what do you think?
I play at least 15 mins. Anything shorter and the game passes too soon, especially if it’s against a tactically aware opponent...
@@JohnDoe-cf7jr same i like a long slow paced match but the final score is usually high for both ends :P
I play either 12 or 15mins. 12 is my sweet spot.

I just picked up this latest pes not that long ago Spoony, I'm noticing online this year more so than any other pes i've played that people are playing with huge players to constantly muscle me off the ball. My players seem to be getting muscled off the ball way too easily, I noticed you seemed to be holding the jockey button while pressing x once to shoulder your opponent off the ball. Does holding the jockey button or super cancel make the shoulder barge more effective than just pressing x once when you are near an opponent, or is there any difference?
Like I said my opponents online seems to be able to muscle me off the ball way too easily even when barging me from behind.
Super cancel or jockey allow you to position (mostly use SC myself but I know it's not easy). Allows you to fake out which side you're attempting to get the ball from. Cheers bud.
Can we use Jockey + R1(Special controls) + R2(Dash/sprint) off the ball ? Or should jockey be not used with sprint?
Jockey + sprint = super cancel. See my super cancel video and it's going to unlock a whole nother world ;)
When I used to play fifa all I would do when defending was hold down the jockey button
Great video as always. I just wonder if there's any way to stop the ball from bouncing off your defenders when trying to intercept a pass? Am I doing something wrong, do I forget to press a button? I'm kinda inclined to say that this annoying feature is part of the scripting. Especially in cancerous MyClub against super teams every freaking ball is bouncing back to the opponent 😡
I think this is Konami trying to introduce realism, as in real life... If you try to intercept a pass in-between, the pass isn't intended for you... so the power of the pass would make it harder to control. That's my take on it and the ball can go anywhere. That's why, when defending, especially online... retreat to penalty box and make it as compact as possible. Watch the pros, they don't change out cuz with PA3 you'll get cut to pieces

Man I get confused which button your sprinting with its r1 right ? So jocking for me would be r1 since I’m sprinting with r2. And on Offenes r1 would be special control ? And when I try to tackel I need to press jocking/special control and x ? Sorry if I sound dumb 😂
You don't sound dumb at all. So for you it's R1 and then tap X once - like you said.

Can you please tell me how I can possibly change the default position of a player to another one in master league? Like changing an AMF to SS
Change the game plan in the main menu (not the match menu)
@@str2254 thanks for your reply. But I mean I want to train my players to get accustomed to that new role. I don't want to see amf next to my players name. I want to see SS next to him. In previous versions there was a section for this but I can't find it in pes 21.

I used to play Fifa and the jockey button was L2 and I'm still not used to using my middle finger to jock in pes. Still feel awkward lol. But thanks for the tip!
Doesn't get much use tbh, unlike FIFA where it's a necessity

Spoony I need your help (or anyone's). I'm suddenly getting an error when playing co-op with my brother on PS4. It says "check that there are no user-generated media restrictions for your account for playstation network". We've been playing fine with no problems before this. Not sure why it's happening now. It's really tough to play without option files having just transferred from fifa. Any idea how to fix it? Googling it didn't help.
