- Say “Goodbye!” to the drab and boring workstation as we take a look at the “Verktøy Cu”- a super cool steampunk inspired custom workstation mod from skilled builder Derick Magnusen of Senpai Studios. His goal was to build a premium workstation that is as fun to look at as it is to work on.

Why do some people think that the weight of the Cu used determines the Steampunkishness of an object.
Steampunk means: anachronistic technologies or retro-futuristic, going back in time and rewriting the future.
The Analog Meters and the Nixie Tubes barely help, and would be aided by anything *except* over 100 lbs. of copper.
There isn't even a Corkscrew shaped dripper thingy nor a clock mechanism, no lever or dial; just copper.

Just don't call it Steampunk, Borg, Star Trek, Metro, Euro, or Alien themed - it's a *Plumber's Nightmare*.
Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery....
Steam powered machinery...which are basically plumber made.
Wow, that case is pretty sweet. That is easily a 2 person job to move it haha. All that copper looked cool but I really loved the lights he placed on top of the case, makes it look like the early 1900's haha #GameReady #E3

I love this build obnoxious amounts of copper and those nixie tubes beautiful.
One thing that I don't understand is why add non-functional gears as decals? It looks tacky I know it's a Steampunk build but it takes away from the utilitarian aesthetic.

I agree. Utilitarian has virtue. Tacky 'streampunk' garnish works against the aesthetic. What are those swet nixie tubes on top (numeric display) showing? I love that the watercooling goes through copper. Not visible, but better thermal conduction and veracity.

One last thing that this build lack is smoke, i wonder how it will look if it produce smoke of its own like there an engine to it. it would be awesome producing smoke inside the interior

nope...
its just not useful if you use 3 gpus a 4th gpu will add less then 10% of power (but the same power cosumption) to the rig)
