- Exciting news, everyone! The official trailer for the much-anticipated Jurassic World: Rebirth has just been released! On Wednesday, Universal Pictures gave us a first glimpse into what promises to be an exhilarating new chapter in the Jurassic saga. Get ready to dive into a thrilling world where danger awaits at every turn, as our courageous characters embark on a final mission to retrieve the DNA from the last surviving pack of dinosaurs.
Set five years after *Jurassic World Dominion*, the film explores a planet struggling to accommodate these magnificent creatures, who now inhabit isolated environments reminiscent of their ancient homes. Within this lush tropical biosphere, the three largest beings on land, sea, and air hold a vital secret in their DNA-offering life-saving potential for humanity.
I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds! Let’s buckle up for an adventure filled with heart, suspense, and groundbreaking discoveries!
Even though it’s not the same spinosaurus individual from jp3, it’s still so good to see the most controversial theropods in all of paleontology to return to the franchise
Agreed
It looks less controversial and I’m debating whether that’s a good or a bad thing
@ controversial in the sense that there is heated debate about just how much of an aquatic animal spinosaurus really was, he hunted fish, that’s universals excepted, but the rest is hotly contested
How is it good? Is not even accurate , its a mediocre desig also for being made up.
@spinosaurusstriker, and that's your opinion
I don't think those are Quetzelcoatlus. I think those are Hatzegopteryx. Hatzegopteryx was smaller than Quetzelcoatlus, but its beak was absolutely and relatively larger. It also had a shorter neck. TBF though, its build was much more robust than Quetzelcoatlus, so this could still be a small Quetzelcoatlus.
Hatzegopteryx was bigger man .
@@amrita_s8094 I said its smaller than Quetzelcoatlus.
These could be first-time parents. Just sexually mature. basically Horny Teenagers who managed to mate and build a nest.
They could grow bigger still. And then they'll have to use a larger cave for nesting.
nope it was conformed no Hatzegopteryx in the movie or under prehistoric creatures.
That wouldn’t make sense though if they need to secure DNA from “the three largest creatures” considering as you said, Quetz is bigger than Hatzeg.
@ericnowak9497 maybe InGen never made Quetz.
Are the games canon? I don't play any of them so no actual idea. Was Quetz there in the games before Biosyn? Was it said to have been made by InGen? If yes, then I have a theory.
Quetz was definitely larger than Hatz, but Hatz hunted tougher animals ( Dwarf adult and Baby Titanosaurs ), so idk, maybe they are actually after the genes that code for the reinforced bones in its skull and vertebrae, which would be advantageous over Quetz.
Or maybe, Quetz is not a resident of the island.
I'm getting Alien Resurrection vibes from that mutant thing.
Right? I thought the same thing.
I’m thinking more like Alien Romulus vibes especially from The Offspring
@@ChristopherGrisolia I could see that, but for me the arms read as the newborn.
Alien Romulus and Resurrection are similar...
@@Jay-jb2vr yep, both have a mutant horror thing at the end, like this movie seems to
the d rex looks like a rancor from starwars
It was based off of it.
@@SpecterK8051and a xenomoroh for some reason
Shares a lot in common with the hellknight from Doom 3 as well. Look at the face of the mutant dino.
One of the things that this trailer is doing more justice is blending scientific accuracy to the franchise, with the Spinosaurus being modeled after current scientific reconstructions, while still taking liberties with many of them. I really like the design of the sauropod dinosaur, the Titanosaurus, that we see in the trailer
The swimming Spino reconstruction is highly controversial and it already getting overturned as we speak.
Huh?? What are you on about?
There are actually 2 different species of quetzalcoatlus! The largest and most famous being from texas while there was a smaller one from texas as well They are Quetzalcoatlus Northropi being the largest and Quetzalcoatlus lawsoni being the smaller. Perhaps the ones in dominion are the larger while the ones in rebirth are the smaller variant
Look closely at that Raptor I swear it has two heads
It does but it could also be to raptors
Never mind, upon further inspection it has 2 heads
Yeah it does 👏🏻
You're right! It does look like it does
@@mindq4328 Might have to update it or repost the vid also I'd like a shout out for spotting it thanks bud😊❤️
I actually like the D-rex, a super strange design. Where I think the indo's played it too safe, this thing goes completely wild, and thus I think it contrasts perfectly with the more realistic dinosaurs, seeming like a true abominable act of hubris by Ingen's scientists.
Im hoping its a truly tragic 'Frankestein's monsters', unlike the indos, who shouldve been portrayed as abused animals, a cruel creation of humanity's greed and hubris, but only explored this shallowly and ended up being the 'evil enemy dinosaur' who are defeated by our 'hero dinosaurs' in their respective movies.
Also the scientists better call out the Quetz or Mosa being called a dinosaur, because it hurts every time I hear it lol.
From what little we saw about the Hybrid it reminds me about the Death Angels from a Quiet place. Faceless, blind creatures that hunt by detecting sounds, i bet the D-Rex could be like that! His bulbus head could be something to a beluga head used for ecolocation since we dont see his eyes or even we dont know if he HAS eyes making his apearence more nightmarish
ok... i like it, but comparing it to death angels... if it is similar to that, thatd be lame. So many modern monsters look like that, and i dont want another Primeval Future Predator rip off.
@flightlesslord2688 hey that was the first thing It came to my mind, i dont know other creatures in media thats looks like the death Angels so that was the best comperasion i could make
Nah, I think this D-Rex mutant has eyes but we couldn't see it clearly in the trailer.
So, if the director adds a 2nd & 3rd official trailer (in 2 or 3 months time) for Jurassic World Rebirth, then we might hopefully see the full design of the mutant dinosaur in a clear picture, right👍😉🦖🌌
@@panoskarydis7947 i think It would be Better of It dosent have eyes to give more of the horror factor
@@dylan8435 We don't know that yet.
Let's just wait & see what D-Rex will look like in the next 2nd trailer &/or when the is released, ok👍
I'm loving the trailer
I’m so glad you’re covering this 0:12
Mind Q Can You Do A Size Comparison Between The Mosasaurs From Jurassic World Dominion And The Mosasaurs In Jurassic World Rebirth
That Mutant looks sick!
I'm really hoping for another Lego Jurassic World game after this that has all 7 movies. the first game only went up to Jurassic World 1.
I was/am such a huge fan of the Spinosaurus design from JP3 that although I am excited for the return of spino, the fan boy in me would’ve loved nothing more than to see a similar if not exact design.
I personally wish they kept the head, as that actually looked more like a spino (excluding the different crests), as here it just looks more like a generic crocodilian snouts, whereas in JP3 its given the more accurate slender gharial snout (its not exact, but its closer from what I can tell)
The original is still alive in camp cretacous and changing its design would be really f****** stupid. I think these new ones look terrible and they would of been live bait for that mosa.
I'm just hoping these spinos are mixed with something else like a dimetrodon.
@@flightlesslord2688 I 100% agree. The head and overall design was so aesthetically pleasing in my opinion.
@Themistocles30 yea I’m not really understanding the relationship between the Mosasaurus & spinos it doesn’t really make sense to me. I understand spinos are aquatic but I would think they’d be lunch for mosasaurus just like any other creature
I'm really excited for the movie. I'm really happy that the Gareth Edwards is bringing back the horror atmosphere of the original 1993 Jurassic Park movie.❤💥
Agreed, it looks like the first 2 movies but with possibly even more horror. I'm really exited for this movie and what it's gonna bring to the franchise because judging by this trailer, it's gonna be great.
Lol what horror ???😂 looks the same as every movie
@sasthaassh1112, you are not a true Jurassic Park fan.😔
Go away, you're a casual
@Jay-jb2vr. Are you talking about me or @sasthaassh1112 ?
Woulda been awesome if the rex was colored to resemble Jr from the lost world, either way though the new Rex looks so clean and beautifully Chonky. I absolutely love it along with the Mosas new design.
What explanation they will gave for design change of spino and mosasauras
the new monster seems inspired by the female mute
U mean muto
Same director so definitely
maybe, but hopefully it has plenty unique features
Rancor from Star Wars
What is this mean for the camp Cretaceous saeson???
I positively hate the new hybrid rancor thing it looks dumb as hell. Hope it doesn’t soil the entirety of the film but we’ll see. Excited for the dinosaurs so hopefully they get the most screen time.
I actually like how much it contrasts with the... slightly more realistic/natural dinosaurs. Something the indos didnt achieve as they were simply awesomebroed version of other dinosaurs, with a few things added on top like a thumb. So the Indominus sorta blends in with the unrealistic designs of animals like Giga, where that too may as well be a hybrid.
Here however, its something completely aliens, a complete Frankenstein's monster, which contrasts entirely the 'real' dinosaurs.
Its not a Hybrid
Thanks for adding the names of the dinosaurs. I can't follow the hard names by just hearing them.
Big Eatie? Jurassic World Rebirth!
So, I'm excited, without a doubt the actors are fantastic, I like the plot a lot, the practical effects.
But about the mutated dinosaur..... Well in short, I have mixed problems, I like the design (it reminds me of some concept art from the Godzilla movies) but I don't know, that is uma-sauri (humans + dinosaurs)? In short, the idea of uma-sauri is not from Jurassic Park/WORLD, but from a different franchise. So again, a dinosaur that turned out badly, mutated, yes I like it, but it shouldn't look like it comes out of Starship Troopers or an alien film
Johansson can't carry a JP movie. It just aint happenin.
I actually like the possibility of a human hybrid. I think its a logical next step for 'genetic experiments gone array'. Or if not simply a botched experiment born from hubris. That seems very on theme for this franchise, and makes a lot more sense than making an awesomebro-ified version of a regular dinosaur for military purposes, in my opinion.
Y’all bitch about anything nowadays😂
Am I still the only one who realizes that the Indoraptor was part human?
4:14 is that a huge shark behind
It’s a mosasaurus. That’s the tail fin
Baryonyx with a sail.😅 Well at least spino is back
The D-Rex is exactly what the I-Rex should have been like
Welcome to Rancor Park
The trailer sold me on the Spinosaurus and D-rex!!
That human-rex look like that monster from the sixth Star wars.
I think it’s absolutely bullshit they didn’t use the original design of the spino. Nothing beats that menace from jp3. And what a cool way to bring back the original instead they fuck it up again
Am I the only one that sees a massive shark fin too??
is this isla sorna?
Not even close😂 it's near Barbados
Quetzalcoatlus is not dinosaur, it's a flying reptile called pterosaur
Neither is Mosasaurus
But Jurassic Franchise isn't always about Dinosaurs (it's more like about different Prehistoric Creatures brought back to life)
@ArnaudTyson2008 Yes
What have they done to the spino?
Made it Acurate
To be honest i found the trailer kinda of silly, full of modern trends, the colors are to brighter and yellowish for my taste, and dont have that somber cinical vibe they are promising (by the trailer presentation at least).
If the great secret is a new island full of dinos from original JP Project, its better be explained why its has so much new aestethics from JW, but its doesnt look like a great Secret at all too... Its already a normal plot point, another island with dinosaurs (hurray!)
The titan looks hideous 😢
Chaos Effect 1998 anyone? This is going to be a great movie 🍿🎥
I think that T. rex is the baby T. rex from JP2 all grown up
the raptor inthe container hase 2 heads
tyrannosaurus Rex mix with crocodile would be more deadly🎉
Not a quetzalcoatlus
mutant hybrid dino call d rex
That Doomsday Rex looks like a MUTO from Godzilla 2014 and a Xenomorph hybrid. It looks sick
Let me guess another evil Doctor? 😡
First
0:57 as a painting this would be beautiful, but not as a shot in a jp movie, weakest cgi of the trailer definitely.
No youre wrong the isla sorna one wasnt a freak of nature, they literally stated when the pics released these dinosaurs are the failures, im just glad these spinosaurus are not how this universes spinosaurus looks because theyre mutations, the jp3 spinosaurus is how this universes spinosaurus looked, so therefore my boy spino is not retconed
This movie is lit like a Dwayne Johnson jungle movie, just horrible and doesn’t fit with this franchise
Personally I don't think anything will ever fit the franchise anymore. The real appeal of the first ones was the fact we had never had effects good enough to sell realism at that level. Since then, not only JP but a lot of franchises have good dinosaurs. It's kinda the Star Wars effect, the first ones were borderline magic with the portrail of spaceships and such, nowdays is common place.
@ but the thing is they had something going, the first two Jurassic world movies were good and they had an amazing setup after FK which they fumbled awfully
No it really doesn’t but hey if that’s what u think
You have not seen the movie, only seen the trailer, so we dont know fully what it will be like yet
The one in the tank is a two-headed velociraptor
