Duude, All Area i'd have to say SMOKED Top 9. Not that there weren't any good Top 9 moments, but Kazuhiro and Taisuke both blew them away.

All Area is def a top 3 squad in Japan, between them I Love Footwork and FoundNation they can compete anywhere

That's the funniest thing i've heard in a long time!!! All area crew just won the Boty Asia and the R16... Taisuke can't make his crew win all by himself: it's a teamwork! He's good and so is his crew! They are always on beat, original, creative. I think they going to win the International BOTY. PeAcE.

robin, flying buddha & rekzy now are members of mighty zulu kings. Katsu and taisuke are of course in it also. All zulus share fluid beat riding & battle spirit which is interesting.

I wanna see the battle though. I heard it could've gone either way and was a really hype battle from start to finish. I'm tempted to buy the DVD when it comes out xD
omg....Top 9 was totally outclassed in this battle. All Area Crew is incredible!
Taisuke straight up killed them. That was like, something to bring tears to your eyes. And i think he hit the beat with a gainer lol. And tell me who i have to kill to get Kazuhiro's footwork. I love that boy.
As soon as Taisuke came on the whole mood of the battle changed. People started getting serious.
It's not weird really, if you really look closely at battles, which this one is a good example, they use the musicality for their advantage to express themselves through charisma and the beat. This is how bboying was back in the day. Not very familiar with a lot of the Japanese bboys but one of them uses the beat and expresses how he is "killing" the other crew at 6:25 (imo). If you look at other battles, lots of bboys beat off at each other as another example. It shows they're feelin the music

His combo was super sick, but in the end he crashed a bit which ruend the mood :( I still think it was the dopest power combo in the battle, bboy Toshki's power is way more technical but he doesn't hit beats as much and has less flavour.

Taisuke has more swag than all of Top 9 combined. And Flyind Budhha can't hit a beat to save his life, even when he has the easiest beats. Overall, I like Japanese bboying. They didn't fall for the Korean trickster stuff and kept their own individual style. They're right up there with USA
Both crews were good. All Area won imo but they didn't smoke Top 9. It was close. Robin is fucking TALL.

damn, good battle, i gotta go with all area. they can make a lot of noise this year. they beat rivers and formosa at fss japan and imo beat top 9, they can compete at an elite level

i think Top 9 are one of the doper crews out there, i dont really think flying buddah is all that but he's not bad at what he does, as far as All Area, they straight smoked em, they're something to look out for on the internaitonal scene no doubt, and as far as Japanese b-boying goes, they are right up there with US b-boys, Katsu, Taisuke and Kazuhiro are all living testament to that...

All Area destroyed, as usual. It didn't seem like Top9 was up to its usual standard of excellence. Buddha's first set had 3 full crashes with 1 borderline, and I felt their rounds were slow compared to the energy All Area brought. All dope bboys, but All Area took it that day.
