I apologize for the delayed response, but thank you for your comment! The green aura/afterimage you'd see behind my character is from the Gate of Darkness ("Gate", "GoD") buff. On top of the +5% ASD, +5 MP/s, and other less notable buffs, you also receive a +10% Movement Speed buff which causes the effect you were referring to.
