- They didn't learn from the first game. Stuttering is still there.

@SIXEYE I just posted nearly the same run as you on my own channel (Star Wars Jedi Survivor FSR set to Quality). We both have the same GPU. Just different CPU, RAM and motherboard. They definately need to work on CPU optimization somehow. I am getting 50% better fps I think. In some cases where I can pause them side by side. I get nearly double the fps. My 7900XT says 100% utilized and yours might say 80%.
Has you perofmance improved with new patch? I have 4070 TI with 3700X CPU. I think your poor performance is due to CPU
I been waiting for more updates. I will do a new video. Hopefully the games performance is better now.

Old patch. But still doing the same thing on new patch.
@@Sixeye_ I have almost the same system as you. Difference is the CPU. I have the 5800X3D. I will record myself running around in the same area and we can compare. I'll try to get it done today. Will be interresting to see where we are with CPU's in this game. I assume you are on the latest GPU driver for the 7900XT as well.
@@F1neW1ne Yep, latest driver update. It would be interesting if the 5800X3D is any better in the same area. I was going to get that one but they were all sold out. I think it still comes down to the games optimisation, rather than hardware. I seen it stutter like mine on a i9 system. Do you have the liquid cooling for your CPU? I knew I needed it with a 5800x.
GPU usage is not maxed out, same thing happens to me with an RTX 4090.
I seen people with 4090 have the same stutters. Just bad optimisation. Was the same for the first game. They didn't learn.
@@Sixeye_ our cpus are bottlenecking the gpus 😭
@@xmarston Our CPUs are easily capable of handling these high end cards. Watch the CPU usage. Doesn't go anywhere near 100%. The gme is poorly optimised. People who have i9 intels are also getting the stuttering.
Ya I did the same run with my 7900XT but I have the 5800X3D and get close to 75% better fps at the same settings. Just on account of the CPU. I can see why there are negative reviews mainly because so many people own mid range CPU's and the game is not kind to them. I posted a clip on my channel and pinned back to this one. Community gets to the bottom of these things pretty fast. 😉

Did you tried lowering the setting a bit for better frames?

I haven't played it since. It was definitely a game optimisation thing. I now know my CPU is struggling to handle the 7900XT. Which I can see in helldivers 2 and other high graphics games. I will get a steady 111fps on the ship, but on the planet I it drops down to 50fps. Plus I notice the GPU is not 100% in games. I will be upgrading to the 7800x3d soon.
