The area of the bow with all the anchor handling machinery like windlasses, gypsy heads, and the like is called a Fo'c'sle or Forecastle. It's pronounced Folk-soul.
@@AdventuresByKnapp It's an old sailing term. Much like Port and Starboard, Fore and Aft. Where you board the ship would also be called the Quarterdeck and you board via a brow.
When the waiters and waitresses lines up and join hands they should have every other person facing backward, so the people on the outside are not looking at their backs...then when they turn the people who had their backs to you are now facing you...that would be nice.
So I’m going on November 3 ! On the same ship different locations and it will be a birthday present! So I’m really excited for it is there anything I need to know! It’s my first!!
