    Speaker Rónán Ó Dochartaigh is Language Director at Oideas Gael, in Co. Donegal talks about the rising popularity of the Irish language in film. He also discusses how the Irish language is faring in the Gaeltacht, in urban environments, and online.
    About Rónán Ó Dochartaigh and Oideas Gael:
    Last year, over 1,600 people attended courses at Oideas Gael where they learned to speak Irish language or enjoyed a cultural activity holiday involving Irish arts, music or the natural environment. In addition to this, Oideas Gael offers online language classes to hundreds of participants each year.
    As well as teaching Irish to adults for the past 14 years in Donegal, Dublin, and the US, Rónán's background is in software development, and he has helped build a number of popular websites associated with Irish culture, including www.duchas.ie (the National Folklore Collection of Ireland).
