Just a thought about your novel 🤗 Remember there are of course many ways to publish and retain a bit more control - platforms such as Apple Books, Unbound, and Vocal etc. If you were happy with your novel, you could always publish it (and rely on your current audience to read and enjoy it and spread the word!) so that in the future, you could approach publishers having already established a “fan base”. Just a thought as I bet your current clients, viewers and blog readers would also like the style of your novel and would support it. You don’t always need conventional publishers right away. Thank you! 🤗 I know that there are all these beautiful options, and maybe I will end up going down the self-publishing route one day. A close friend of mine is a self-published author and I have the biggest respect for that path, and I also know just how much work goes into it. It's a bit complicated since I'm writing my novel in Swedish and my audience is all over the world. There would be a couple of extra steps of translation and versions and marketing to two different markets. So I'm not ready for all of that yet. I haven't given up on traditional publishing, and I feel I have more to give this book. But maybe one day. Thank you for you support, and best of luck with your own writing! 💛

I’m working on the first draft of my second novel this summer.. but I’m taking it slow because I’m having a hard time focusing nowadays 😅 between the scorching heat of Korean summers and being 6 months pregnant.. not easy! Good luck for your writing!
