    Watch everyone cling onto Quade until he has an off game, then he’s back in the pile with everyone else Aussie fans and media discards. I was disgusted with how ruthless wallabies fans and media were towards him when he struggled, saying he wasn’t even Australian, denying him citizenship and then laughing in his face when he was emotional about it. All love and positivity towards you Quade from a fan that always knew you had footy in you.

    Like many in NZ I had little time for QC and his immaturity on and off the paddock but listening to that interview has completely revised my opinion of the man. Well done mate.

    Man. As a huge All Black fan who has enjoyed many average QC games against the ABs, seeing him hit the game winner followed by his shout out to SBW helping him find his way... that may have gotten me a bit glassy-eyed. I can honestly say QC now has my utmost respect.

      Ive been in Oz 26years i still have my nz accent.i really noticed the accent when I went back home and i herd all my bros speaking. You don't notice it in your own voice but you here it every day.but when you hear it on the news and people you haven't seen in ages you get what the Aussies are talking about.

      SBW went thru a rough journey too when he was still a young pup at the dogs and had everything in the world at his feet. Same for QC. both of them have come out great. He repeated a few times that the game is just a small part of his life now(although important). ask him that question 4-5 years ago and it would be the other way around - hes grown a lot

    A very different Quade from when he was at the top of the reds and Wallabies years ago…as a kiwi it’s awesome to see him this way…good on ya mate! Enjoy life! Footy is just a small part of it and something to enjoy 👍🏽
