    It's all about that Elbow.. Mahomes & Rogers makes sure to get that elbow pointing forward! 💪🏾

      😂a lot of the old heads usually do- everyone has their own style there is just a few things mechanically I would like all QBs to do and that’s what I try to cover in the videos

    The throwing sequence is similar to a baseball swing I know but can u discuss the arm path or the key things to having a great arm path also knowing that all Qbs throw differently
    Ex.
    Like the external rotation phase after the backstroke or how to successfully bring the ball threw when building up torque correctly. “
    Any tips will help but I do understand and know that all quarterbacks throw differently”

      Yeah absolutely, I can make a video about it. I think the main key is not lifting the ball and not dropping it too low. Those are the main keys but I’ll post something for that

    Hi Coach Grant, I've been inspired by your videos for a long time thanks to your excellent explanation of the mechanics of throwing. I'm a physicist and I've never heard a coach so successfully bridge the concepts of sport and science so seamlessly. My second cousin Jake Hubenak led the roster as QB for Texas A&M in the 2015 Music City Bowl. My childhood best friend's son now leads the roster as QB for Clemson. Cousin Jake played well. Unfortunately, the game was overshadowed by a Hamlin-like moment that took out the receiver of his first throw. Targeting calls were just entering the picture at this time and there and a controversy arose over whether the hit was targeting or not. I think God is telling us we need to protect our players and the Lord has seen fit to give Hamlin a second life for him and a second chance for us to bring this game up to a level it was meant to play in geo-politics. I'm talking about the connection between the science of rotation and the art of life, and the meaning of Christ. Both Ukraine and Russia were on a trajectory to bring professional football to these lands until the war put a halt to it. It's a shame because I think the National Football League has the potential to earn a Nobel Peace Prize if it were to expand operations to these two countries in an effort to bring civility and sportsmanship into the culture that cuts through every stratum. I envision a lead role for you to play in this endeavor given your skill set. The following is my response to Anna From Ukraine's interview of Operator Starsky in Kyiv. They each have popular TH-cam channels covering Ukraine War News and this is the first moment they met in person published on Anna's channel. My response follows:
    "This was a double treat seeing the two of you speak with optimism about Ukraine's bright future. Anna, you looked even more gorgeous than ever, like a movie star, for three reasons: 1.) Your natural beauty. 2.) The beauty of your Kyiv surroundings and the gentle and assuring breeze let us know God holds you in his Grace and 3.) Your excellent company in the shining light (and royal-like knight) Operator Starsky. As a scientist, I'm alarmed by the lack of response from my colleagues to Ukraine's hour of need. But recently I'm happy to report to report progress in this direction. Stanislaw Ulam's playful drawing of the Ulam Spiral was made in Ukraine and opened the possibility for Mrs. Kerch's discovery. In the earliest days of the war, I wrote President Zelensky through Ukraine's official website and urged him to adopt the mathematical cross that my wife, Mrs. Kerch discovered called 935-Qkk. While entirely scientific, it is nonetheless a bridge between science and spirit. To my Joy, Ukraine selected the cross as its identifying mark on her military vehicles. Leading Mrs. Kerch toward the discovery was the concept of Erthe, a medieval spelling of Earth that links her name with both the fertile soil which gives the planet life, and the cross which is the symbol of time and the entire cosmos. Christ identified with this healing and life-giving cross, not the cross which killed him, the executioner's cross of war and hate. This is the cross that Putin has taken up, the very un-Christian cross that killed Christ. St Helena attempted to make a clear distinction between these two crosses with her discovery of the true cross at Golgotha. Yes, it emerged from the remains of the weaponized cross. But it was distinctly different in that it embodied the concepts of love and healing that Christ taught in his ministry. Putin doesn't seem to understand the concept of the transformation that took place of this symbol from one of hate and torment and war to one of love and positive abundance. I am forever indebted to Ukraine for her wise choice in the fact of such a vicious attack from a dictator who claims to follow Christ but does not. I think Mrs. Kerch's discovery and Ukraine's embrace of the cross can help set the tone for Ukraine's victory and return of her Donbas and Crimea regions to the Kerch Strait."

      The last 3 years I have used TH-cam to work on mechanics and I have videos on my channel. Can you please take a look and tell me what I can work on to maximize my energy on the ball, and where im losing energy in my motion?

    Hi Coach, I'm 5'8", 155 lbs, and I've been trying to improve my mechanics for the last three months. Unfortunately, I feel like I've made little to no progress as I'm still stuck throwing around 40 yards with my deep ball. Is it possible for someone at my height and weight to realistically throw the ball 50+ yards with great mechanics or is it only going to come from putting on muscle and getting significantly stronger in the weight room?

    • @firstdowntraining
      @firstdowntraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say that’s definitely going to help- adding size and getting stronger. There comes a point when guys start to plateau and I would recommend trying to strengthen your legs and core in the gym

      @@firstdowntrainingThe upside is that you know have more fame and you earn more than some QBs. And if you keep growing numbers you gonna make more money than some starters QBs

    I’m looking at getting one of your speed training programs but i have a couple questions. what’s the difference between the regular program and the platinum program? also does it give you what day yo do all the workouts and what order or does it just give you the workouts and you chose when you do them?

    • @firstdowntraining
      @firstdowntraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      So the platinum program gives you a schedule to follow! That’s the main difference- the regular plan is just drills with sets/reps to do and examples. Here is the info below!
