    When there is something like this unless you have good reason staying on the safer side is just naturally better. Even if it’s not impossible to use that card and not ever accrue intrest. Because it’s highly likely you will. Best to run away from it like your getting chased by dog.

    The only way to use credit cards is to improve a credit score - so if you can’t afford something don’t buy it. Sometimes I purchase items on the CC knowing full well I have the means and just pay it off right away. Never go into debt. It’s also a safety feature where CC company can reclaim the money far more easily than a Debit Card.

    Debit cards are very hazardous to use because it's directly connected to your bank account, of a hacker manages to get a hold of your information then they can drain your account and there's almost nothing that can be done for you. Credit cards on the other hand is the banks money so if it gets hacked it won't affect your finances.

    So any interest bearing agreement is permissible in your view as long as the interest remains dormant and is never paid. What is your reasoning on that from a fiqhi point of view? We know we shouldn’t even go near interest/riba - isn’t this the exact meaning of going near it? Would be interested to hear your thoughts.

  • @JayM_1993
    @JayM_1993 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Can you please reference the scholars who have permitted credit cards? The benefits of a credit card does not weigh out the harms and explicit impermissibility of riba involved in the agreement. Riba in and within itself is haraam through agreement, and the sin compounds when one indulges into that agreement and this is ribal jahiliyah itself. Otherwise what difference isit from a riba loan, whereby I lend you money on the condition that you return it within a year or else it increments interest, this is the essence of a credit card. So the interest element not “kicking in” unless I go into the debt is a non argument, as it’s equivalent to the example I mentioned of a ribawi loan, whereby the interest element doesn’t kick in unless I’m late with payments. A dormant clause is still an existing clause, which when meeting the necessary requirements becomes active and as I mentioned, this in essence is riba. I urge and advise you to remove this video, as it misguides the masses to take your poor and unreliable advise my dear bro. Otherwise, I’d be very interested to see what scholars permitted credit cards and under what conditions. May Allaah bless you and continue to benefit through your channel.

    This is an Islamic Fatwa that has just been given, and to do it over a short without any evidence or names of the scholars with their evidences is a huge disservice. Engaging yourself in riba is one thing but to issue the Fatwa and say it is permissible has massive consequences if you are wrong. We should really fear Allah in these situations as it is not a light matter and no doubt we will be questioned by Allah on the Day.

    Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between the two of them are doubtful matters about which many people do not know. Thus, he who avoids doubtful matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honor, and he who falls into doubtful matters will fall into the unlawful as the shepherd who pastures near a sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Verily, every king has a sanctum and the sanctum of Allah is His prohibitions. Verily, in the body is a piece of flesh which, if sound, the entire body is sound, and if corrupt, the entire body is corrupt. Truly, it is the heart.”
