I decided to play DA:O for the millionth time after watching your playthrough! Now, whenever Wynne casts "Mind Blast", I'm reminded of you singing it and I do the same hahaha You're so funny Basic! Having a blast watching you play one of the best RPGs of all time! And yes, we all love our companions
I recently picked it up again, also. Dwarf Noble, dual wield warrior. And yeah, Mind Blast and Mouse Form both have her singing burnt into my brain also :p
@PearOfTwos I'm playing as a Male Human Noble (rogue, my favorite class)... Couldn't resist getting back to playing one of the best origins... Noble dwarf is also a very good one for the same reasons (REVENGE HEHE)
Not sure if you'll remember, but there's a nod to Ruck in ME3. In the Omega DLC, when you're in Aria's secret base, there's an asari speaking to someone on the radio. She calls him Ruck and, like this Ruck in DA:O, he's somehow become separated from his companions and is lost. You never meet him, so it's just a tiny little Easter Egg for anyone who's played both games.
She goes into the deep roads with 9 empty spots in her inventory 😱 But not to worry she has no rogue so everything is getting left behind anyway 😁 Alistair spooning his love on the battlefield...only in a Basique episode.
Wynne was definitely the MVP of this video. LOL! The number of times she clutch healed everyone during the battles was crazy. On just one battle I counted 5 times she cast heal on Alistair. It shows how well basicwitgirl set up the tactics for her. Great video!
Origins is my favourite game and the deep roads are so amazing. Wish there was a remake. Spent 1000s of hours and countless play thoughs best game ever.
hiya kiddo, I found that a repulse followed a paralyze glyph stuns all (friendly fire possible) for a while works good to drop acid, fireball, etc...Under the portraits left hand side pf screen, 4 dots click and entire team moves or attack as on. Wynn has Heroic defense and attack, real good buff for tanks, do not stack on 1 toon.PS: all parts are for quests.

IMHO mass paralyze takes too long, instead use glyph of paralysis on an enemy followed by glyph of repulsion on the same enemy...will stun everyone, friends included, around the enemy...then use chain lightning.

I unironically think the Deep roads is the best "Go recruit an army" mission in the game.

If you went into a palace or some nobles house and had to be searched, just how do you explain the body parts in bags... and wont they smell.....

Chain lightning is bugged so its damage doesn’t scale properly
The Deep Roads are just relentless, and with nowhere to offload stuff, that's the worst part about it.
