I just ran across this older video as I have seen all your newer ones. I am looking for better dust control ideas. Great job on this one. Simple but effective. I like the idea of the hole to plug in the sander in the power strip. I have the same sander. I love that little guy. You also mentioned that table saw blade. I run a Forest Woodworker II but need to send off to be sharpened so I picked up the one you recommended. I must say I am impressed. For about half the cost of the Forrest blade too. Thanks for the recommendation. Its a winner!

I also found when sweeping the floor this will remove the fine particles that get kicked up. One can never have too many sanders. Thanks for watching.
Thanks. That little 3d printer is handy for quick little gizmos. This is really helping with the sander dust. I took the blow gun to the top of all the pipes and ducts releasing 10 years worth of dust and this thing cleared the air quickly. Thanks for watching

It works great for sanding and clearing the air in my shop but seeing how it pulls the dirty air over the workpiece you would need very clean air in the room for spraying. I tried it spraying Polycrylic and the filters plugged really fast. Thanks for watching.
Great project. I bought a PC biscuit joiner on sale for cheap money on sale, and been wanting it to use it for something. I would not have been able to bring myself to drill holes in that new table. LoL
Biscuits are so much easier to use then dowels for glue ups. I use mine all the time. Drilling the holes was the easy part. That was a real nice table for the price. Thanks for watching

Love it. Your now the envy of all woodworkers with this build. I was just wondering. Could you cut the legs down so you could put the rollers back on? Not the bottom of the legs where the leveling feet are but instead the top of the legs that attach to the table.
Just adjust the height to a comfortable position for you. Should be easy tocut them shorter and make inserts. The filter prices have soared lately. Thanks for watching.
If you don’t find a rubber pad my suggestion is to get horse stall mats 4’x6’x3/4” or my personal favorite YOGA MATS! Roll tightly, I always have one in my job trailers & truck. They get a lot of use in my shop as well, things don’t slide, protected from scratches, every builder needs at least 1. Best part $15 in store or $5< at yard sales

Had been concerned that theses lasco fans( I have a few moving air in summer) would be protected from the dust? It's been 4 months since you built it. Anything you might do different? Thanks
It's been almost a year and a half now and the fans still work perfectly. I have been through several cases of filters but they don't cost much and catch quite a bit of the sanding dust. If I had more room I would make one 3 fans wide for sanding larger assemblies. It's not perfect but it really helps. Thanks for watching.
A little over. 2 years ago the fans were10 bucks each. Now they are lighter duty and 17 bucks. It was about $150 with the filters and tax.Thanks for watching.
Mine are still good. Contact the manufacturer of the fan you use for that info. Most will supply a life estimation but it will vary depending on speed and filter changing intervals. Thanks for watching.

I added a thin foam washable filter also, that way the paper filters lasted longer and the front filter can be vacuumed and washed.
