Thank you Sir. I understood everything and I was able to pause the video and complete the question . ( there was an error and I am sure that you are aware of that ) Thank you very much.
Great video. I'm here going over Maths in order to help my sister with her exams this year. A lot of the Maths workbook that she has hardly ever shows any good examples to understand how to work stuff out. I'm not sure if you're still active in uploading these tutorials because more of these would be nice to see. Thanks anyway though.
so 3 years later... Isn't 4 multiplied by 0 = 0, but what did you do for /3 and + 6 should it cancel 3 =1 and 6=2, therefore, y = -2 and 2, hence, c = 2-2 which is equal and answer is = 0. Also why should I dived it by 3 if it has to be divided by 2 , then answer should be 3,2. Right
Please I need a solution to this question .a straight line has agradient of -3/2 and passes through the point (1,4). Find it's equation and the intercept on the y-axis
If not given the coordinates you will be given a graph which you will have to figure out the coordinates, which isn't hard. Wherever the A is located on the graph you find the x,y coordinate so for example A would be x=6 y=4 and so on.
I have a test tomorrow, I'm down to last minute revision! My teacher doesn't even explain the stuff properly. Thanks for the video, very helpful!
Glad I could help!
Your dead right
sleeepy .....
Thank you sir. I did not quite understand when this was being taught in class but with your example here I understand better now. Thank you!
Thanks for the positive feedback.
it was supposed to divide both sides by 2 but thanks so much ser i understood the topic
There was an error at 25:20 the mid point should be (3,2) you divided 6 by 3 instead of 2
i was looking at it too, i was like whatttttt?\
@@Skxrrd same i had to check comments cause i thought i was losing my touch

there was more than one actually

Best vid on TH-cam
Thanks mate u jst helped me understand something ive been struggling with for the past 4+hours
iii)By finding the midpoint.... The midpoint should be (3,2) not (2,2). You divided 6/3 instead of 6/2 which is = 3
Thank you very much Sir. I was really struggling with that y=mx+c thing, but now I am clear on the point
Wayne Clarke Awesome...just share the channel so others can benefit.
You make a mistake...it supposed to be divided by 2 not 3, so the answer is 3,2
I know...
Time stamp please....
@Joshua Topolewski I don't think he was being rude but go off I guess🥱

yeah he made a mistake there
To you sir, I owe my life.
at least this is live revision for my test Monday thanks
I didn’t understood what my teacher was teaching but From the beginning Of this video I understood
thank you so much sir..this vid helped so much👍👍
Glad it helped. Feel free to share the channel so others can benefit.
@@CSECMathematics will do!
u are an absolute life saver
The equation for parallel line and perpendicular lines is. y = mx+ c which mean mx is gradient + c is the y intercept
Thank you✅👏👏so much this video is very helpful
Sir i used the s(6,6) coordinates for the equation of the line and got -2 as well
25:03 is wrong. The midpoint should be 3,2. Otherwise veeryyyy helpful Sir many thanks
Yeah....I think I mentioned that in the comment....I made an error.
Hi, I'm a bit confused at how we arrived at 6/3 from 6+0/2. I'm not sure what I missed. Thanks in advance.
You are right. I made a mistake....It should be 6/2 = 3
Great! Thanks again. #youareawesome
Sorry about the mistake. I don't want to confuse students. Sometimes you're thinking something in your head and you still write the wrong thing.
lol I noticed the mistake. When my teacher make mistakes he'll just say he was testing us to see if we understood😂😂😂
lol...It's a great come back by teachers. But I do make silly errors like some students.
You helped me a lot sir terry 💪🏽
Perpendicular lines are join and cross in a right angel triangle with degrees
Excuse sir all these revison showing A sure i getting a grade 1 thats my aim thank you very much sir these crashh helping a long to recieve my GRADE 1
I expect you to get a grade I. I feel you are my biggest supporter online

Thank you I learn a lot
The equation of a line
For June 2012 number (ii) the answer should be c=-6
Right.
Not -2.
How did you get -2?
Thanks in advance.
i know its been a year but the answer is actually c=-2 if you still dont understand i can tell you how he got it
A(2,6), B(4,12)
Thank you very much
I was confused and now I understand
Thanks a lot 😁😊
You're welcome 😊 Thanks...just share the channel so others can benefit.
thanks, I got a test tommorow
Appreciate this video. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Sir can u please help with biology and. Hsb paper 1
Can you do equation of perpendicular and perpendicular bisector?🙏
Sir good day how is the coordinates of the y intercept 0,C?
So we using "E"
Ehem..u mean A?
Please I need a solution to this question .a straight line has agradient of -3/2 and passes through the point (1,4). Find it's equation and the intercept on the y-axis
Equation is Y = -3/2x + 5/2
Y intercept is 5/2
Dear Tutors how many months do you al recommend for one to listen and use the videos before doing the CSEC exams?
It all depends on the student and their willingness to learn. It can take you 6 months to up to 2 years.
M1, M2=-1 2×-1/2=-1M=4=-1/4
Afternooon sir
would we be given what x and y represents in the formula style thingy or would we have to take it off a graph ?
You can be given coordinates or a graph
If not given the coordinates you will be given a graph which you will have to figure out the coordinates, which isn't hard. Wherever the A is located on the graph you find the x,y coordinate so for example A would be x=6 y=4 and so on.
25:18 there’s and error
Label the coordinates is x1 - x2÷ ¥ 1 - ¥2
M= y2-y1=-2-6/0-6=8/-6=4/3
Thank you sooo much
The line passes thiugh the points S (6,6)and T (0-2)
Midpoint A(3,7) B (7,9)=
thanks man
you made a mistake when working out the past paper question ....the midpoint part
i dont understand why i had to put unit at the end of my answer for the lenght if any one knows please tell me
Just like we measure length in cm. In coordinate geometry we just use the word unit.
this video was nice but i still dont understand the equation of a line
Parallel lines are equal lines and have the same gradients
12-6/4-2= 6/2=3
Good morning sir
12-6 ÷4-2= 6 and 2 6÷ 2 = 3
Thank youu
Therefor3 y=3×+1
Perpendicular lines
y=mx+c
M=y2-y1/×2-×1
6yrs later....
3+5÷2 = 8÷4 and 7+9 16 ÷2 =8
Parallel have the same gradient
This is what happens when doing to slow at math
13-7 =6 4-2 = 2
The midpoint 6+0 should be over 2 not 3
4 ,8
6÷2 =3
5 units
10 units

Your voice sound different here

I'm assuming that you understood what was being taught. Glad to hear !!
U made a mistake Terry
