Y /2 = 6 when you have a question students try to find it difficult when you have a formula as fraction you have the next side as the same fraction so it will be is Y /2 = 6/1 and the formula is a×d and b×c which is ad = bc and that is called cross multiplying so is Y/2 = 6/1 cross multiplying so therefore y =12
+Kellyann Mathieson Unfortunately I cannot post any actual multiple questions on my channel. I will be doing model type questions similar to what may come. But I don't think I will be able to record before next Wednesday.
Seven divided by 2 we have make y the subject of the formula so the first thing we do we write 2×\1so 7/2y=2×\1again we going to cross multiply so 2y×2×is going to give us 4× so 4×ywhich is equal to 7 ×\1which will give us 7 if i want to make y the subject of the formula I have to divide both by 2y so we end up with 4×=7 so is 4×\4×=7/4so then x will cancelled and we will end up with y=7/4like I said when this become second nature to you you will write as 7/2y=is 2yand this will be written as 7/2y is =2×\1cross multiply so we end with 4×y=7we have to make 4×and this become y =7/4× right
hi, im a bit confused with the question f=9/5+32 question why didnt we just put the 32 over 1 n make it a fraction, then cross multiply like the other fraction ones shown? why was the f also multiplied by 5?
I multiplied everything by 5 to avoid the fractions. But you can do it the way you've suggested as follows: 9C/5 = F - 32 9C = 5 x (F - 32) 9C = 5F - 160 C = (5F - 160)/9
So glad i found this video! It has helped greatly.
This is a excellent video! Keep up the good work.
The best maths teacher I ever see
Thanks greatly I swear u hv made my school career.
Thank you so much for posting this video was very clear and yes I have liked and subscribe.
I love this channel😊
Thank you. Please share the channel so many more can benefit.
I appreciate you sir❤

that should be plus or minus the squareroot at 24:57
thanks you very much I don't know to do this topic but now I fully understand it thanks very much
Great...This is a difficult topic for many.
for making n the subject in wouldn't n= 5m/t^2 /12 because the opposite of multiplication is division
Sir for question, 7/2y= 2x , can the answer also be y = 7-4/x
What if i want to make t the subject
You are a god!! Jesus christ😭 I didn't understand a shiittt now I finished all my homework
Thank you so much for your help😅
can you do some multiple choice questions before the 18 may

CSEC Mathematics videos are great

Sir for the last question I had the 5m at the top and t squared and 12 at the bottom is that still correct
It you write the t squared first it is still correct. By convention we will write it as 5m/12t squared
THANKS
Thank you for this
LISTEN TO ME NUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CSEC Mathematics thank good teaching hw can I get this web site
Hi sir excellent method.of teaching.....
SIRRRRRRR UH OLD INNA AGE OR WAT? CAH FIRST UH SEH 6 Y NOW UH GONE A DAMNING OLE 4 Y
Exam tmr😭
Thank you so much so muchh
Afternoon sir
Good morning sir ans students
5y +2-2=×-2/5 y = ×-2/5 5y +2
2×=6-y = 2×+y = 6-y+ y = 2× +y=6
Sir Question how you got the 4 squared. Great teaching thanks so much
Let me know the exact time in the video
5 y =10 = 5y/5 =10/5=2
y+2-2=×-2 y=×-2=×-2
19:18
y+5-5=×-5=y=×5=×-5
Great video but I had some problems looking at it😫😫i couldn't concentrate my attention span is so short oh lord .
Y+2=×=y+2-2=×-2=y=×-2
Make y the subject of the formula
Y +2=x so subtract 2 from both sides of equation y+2 -2 = x -2 = y x
Y +2 = ×
Y-5=×
dont understand Much
I don't blame you how will u understand ? Almost everyone that commented understood it .
