How sad I feel for Dionne Broomfield she carries the enormous burden of having had her own career start with the death of her godmother Amy with all the emotional turmoil which all that involved and to see her chart her own path is truly inspiring

I have so much respect for Dionne . It must be extremely difficult, to be so close to an icon so much that it left an imprint on her voice. Dionne is such a brilliant singer and a lovely person from what I gather. Let’s have a new proper Jazz album out very soon. I would love that.

Dionne, I believe Amy's persona is felt by the majority of her Fan's (like me).
What you experienced and knew about Amy, We did too ... she expressed this in her lyrics and music ... I knew who she was. As an Elder, Amy showed us the experience, caring and love, which is usually, only known by an Elder.
I cry today and any day I allow myself to become immersed in her songs ... Amy sings, what we know.
1st time I heard of Amy Winehouse I was in Pure Groove Record shop (Locked on Records) in Archway.
They were playing some of her tracks and I asked who the artist was and the told me its a new local artist called Amy and that she is going to be big

I hope that Dionne becomes more badass and that she has more confidence in herself and in her singing skills which in my humble opinion Dionne is much better than Amy.
