thats what I often did to get good marks my short term memory is good but not nearly as good as his, so he probably did in fact do that when it was already this good back when he went to school ^^

I can get a score of 60+ consistently. The trick is to separate the paterns in small sequences of 3-4 squares. Also I find that counting the squares that you press helps with confidence when you reach higher levels. And the last helpful trick is to stop focusing on the first 40-50 numbers because the pattern should already be ingrained at that point. Focus only on the last 5-10 numbers of the sequence. And as a last touch, be good at visual memory
In your latest video I questioned your memory because I saw you taking your eyes off the screen. That was my mistake, I didn't know how the game worked so I missed the fact that it's always the same pattern but with a digit more each time. I got to level 30 on the test. The trick to it is kinda funny, you have to imagine the pattern as a little man walking, jumping and bouncing around the board The "lore" to my little man went like this: He climbed small stairs, then some large stairs, climbed another set of small stairs, then tried to do it again but then falls, so he tried to go back but then he went too far back and suddenly bounced around the place, landing in the middle. He then walked forward and jumped up, then shooting himself to the left and then back to the right, falls to the middle again. He then jumped backwards and fell down, then jumped up again and shot himself to the top right of the board, then jumping to the top left, and hitting the center. All of that described the pattern I saw in level 30.
When you were saying "death 27 23" I was like "dude, club 27"! I'd go like "death Cobain Curtis" for this pattern (Cobain died 27yo, Ian Curtis from Joy Division died 23yo. You were saying "how are they common", and having death before them is a good foundation). P.s.: now when I'm playing this game, I'm can't force myself to stop associating 8 with death. My record is 59, I'm gonna beat ya one day!
