You asked how people had been fans for years yet few here knew about them? IMHO, their American label partner never really did much to publicize them. (JYPE is their Korean label and Republic is their American)
I know for me, my daughter introduced me to them and she had heard their music on TikTok (I think) and did a deep dive. If it hadn’t been for the members posting on their group social media accounts and their TH-cam accounts, I feel the west would have missed this great group!

I guess you will be my favorite reactor from now on! I love the fact that you pay attention to all details because you DO understand music since you make music and beats so that makes your reactions more genuine. I recommend you next the songs FREEZE and GOD'S MENU.
By the way, as you noticed before, Stray Kids are not a typical "k-pop group", they created their own genre called Mala Taste! They make their own beats, they produce their own songs and they also write the lyrics. All I can say to you right now is that you are stanning the right group!!
Just fyi, Stray Kids create a safe space for everyone and are welcoming of everyone, most stays are like that too. So you don't have to say "no homo."
Stray Kids have great pride in their lyrics. They make them relatable. And they write about experiences or things they know others have experienced. So watching a lyric video after watching a MV will give you a sense of the story without being distracted by the visuals. Their story line follows a bit of their own journey. It will give you a glimps of where they came from.
I'm going to leave you a list of stuff that makes up Skz story line. I give this list to any baby Stay I come across to help them in their SKZ journey. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it is very important for people to watch. Helevator was made before they even debut as part of the Survival Show that they went through to prove they could debut as one group. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(I can't remember if people have told you, but SKZ were a 9 member group at the beginning. At just under 2 years into their journey one of them, Woojin, left. You will see Woojin in older videos. He was present till Double Knot. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career. A lot of Stay ignore his existence because of how he left.)

Laughing at "Korean pop smoke" to describe Felix (deep voice) - spot on! Don't worry about just now finding Stray Kids. As the saying goes, "You don't find Stray Kids, Stray Kids finds you". And for simpler videos, there are lots of "dance practice" videos out there for SKZ songs, where the members just do the choreo, usually in their dance studio, or look up Studio Choom Be Original for performance videos and relay dances, where they're in the outfits/styling they wear in the music videos but it's just them dancing to the songs in various formations. I'm looking forward to more reactions from you! God's Menu, Get Lit, Easy, and Thunderous are four more you might enjoy!

nothing wrong with appreciating beauty! it doesn't take rocket science to notice these guys are BEAUTIFUL! but tbh i was never able to get into kpop fully until i listened to skz! they're known for their "noise" music, which is actually why a lot of stays became fans. a lot of their songs are responses to the hate they get, such as God's Menu and Thunderous! they LOVE experimenting with different sounds and genres, giving them one of the most versatile discographies of kpop! their music videos also contribute to a "lore", which are often seen in b-sides. so if you're a fan of the music videos, you're definitely in for a treat! once you've reacted to the other tracks, definitely check out "SKZFLIX" next!

I’ve been a Stay since their pre-debut, and they keep surprising me with each new comebacks. They really are different, they got their own genre. And if you can, please watch the guides also. It would help you understand more of their dynamics as a group. I love how your like “they can’t be real they must be AI” I can definitely understand that statement they are gorgeous lol. I suggest watching stray talker episodes. Gives you a bit of a behind the scenes and get to know their personalities and them. You will see that the in video them is quite different from the people they actually are but I love both.
Simple videos....Yes!!! Look up a show called the first take. It is deceptively simple but literally one of the hardest show concepts imaginable...they get one take with live vocals. The kids were honored to be the first Kpop acts on this show, which is from Japan and have at least 8 episodes. My two favorites are Lost Me and Scars but I have been in battles with my bestie who favors Mixtape:Oh and Slump. Of course the songs are still produced by 3racha so whichever one you pick will be fire. Extra credit for Case 143 where you get both Flirty Felix and when Chan flubs lyrics.
