  • Here is the link to the 700 Multimaster Review: • FEIN Multimaster AMM 7...
    "I'm just
going to cut a little bit of this off "
    to show our political.
"This is a really good product,
    really good products."
"I mean, he went through that
    like hot knife through butter."
    "Hi, my name is Nick
Sassanali Toolkit have asked me to review"
a couple of items, a couple of products,
"and I'm pretty excited to do
    so, to be fair. "
one is a Fein saw multi must a 300 stop.
And the other is a Fein saw
Multi must have five on top.
    "So let's start with the
    the lowest spec one"
for pulling one down all the way,
loving the box a really robust,
    really robust, so
    soft.
    "Very few guys have used
    fine saws and tools before"
    "using for everything every day,
    but they are pretty good."
Very, very good. Won't be without one
    on the box.
    So what's in the box?
"Obviously, we've got the the tool itself,
which are really like things very cool."
    I'm pretty, pretty
    amazed
about the excuse me about the packaging.
    "Everything is really, really
    classy, is very strong, robust."
    It looks expensive.
    "That's the key.
I think it looks expensive. "
And you know, you get the quality product.
    You've got a charger here,
which has got USB on it.
    So that's pretty cool.
"You can charge your phone from it
and everything is really well packaged."
    You've got spare battery.
    "You've got all these different
compartments so you could store in here."
"You could put two batteries, so you could
have three in total on your charger."
"And then there's a box here
    which carries all your blades"
    and you get 33 blades
    "with the kit
when you get the when you get the kit."
    three years warranty.
    Excellent.
    "Not many tool manufacturers
give you a three year warranty."
No, I've used tools before like this.
    I've even bought cheap ones
    "for DIY projects,
and they don't seem to last that long."
I've burnt a couple out in the past, but
this one, I believe I would.
I would imagine I would believe
"this was going to last a long time
because this is a quality product."
It just looked quality, feels quality.
    "It just everything about it
    just feels really good."
    Really, really good.
    What's good about this is
    "I particularly like this style
lock system, this quick release system,"
    "it makes it so easy
to to load and unload your blades."
    I know there are
    "one or two other manufacturers
use the style lock, and I particularly"
    "like I've used it before
    and a different manufacturer"
    so quick
"and so easy to to get your blades on
and off, you know, especially when the"
you can just drop it off like that
"and obviously put a new one on and so on
    or when they break."
"And it's hard because the last thing
you want to be doing is handling that"
    "once it's hot
    because you obviously burn yourself."
The other good thing about this is
    this kit is so
    it's so rugged.
It's so it looks so hard wearing.
    "I mean, this thing,
I reckon you could throw this in."
    "You've done umpteen times
    and not even affect it."
"You know, it's it just feels such
a good quality piece of piece of equipment"
    just the way it's made.
"Everything about the box is rock
hard, you know, but it won't shatter,"
    but it's really, really hard.
"But you could hit a few times
    impacts at all."
    I like the lock facilities.
You can put a padlock on it.
    Not many of those.
    "I just think it's a great, great
    bit of kit. Oh, nice."
"Nice pocket blades, which comes with three
    blades, comes with it."
    That's pretty cool.
It's got a quick release opener.
    Like so.

Proper pieces of kit. Bought the 700 to install a radio on my boat that required a complex cutout on the instrument panel at an awkward angle. Did the job so fast and so accurately was left feeling a little disappointed it was over so quickly. Then discovered that I was able to use the tool on many other projects. Thanks for the no nonsense review.

Unsure about star lock. It’s always good to be able to change blades quickly. I think Fein and Bosch had to find a way to stay ahead in the race to the bottom (China) that’s happening in the multi tool business. Harbor Freight sells one currently at $22.97, versus $389 on Amazon for Fein’s flagship Fein Multitool AMM 500 kit with Starlock Plus mounting.
Hey, Fein invented the oscillating tool in 1967!

Thank you for the information Phil. Do you know more about the Harbor Freight brand? We wonder how that would stack up against Fein?

You don't need to unlock it to put the blades on , they snap on

Fein invented the electric drill. I had a 2nd hand fein 5 inch grinder 20 years ago. Its still working. The brushes and bearings are 40 years old and still original. Who else makes good tools today?

Right on, that said there are some fabulous manufacturers. But the old adage of buying cheap, you buy twice is true when it comes to tools.

Fein no longer hold up. Mine lasted 9 months and I replaced it wi th Makita thats lasted over 2 years. Fein is no longer high quality just high price.
