I’m getting random crank no starts, sometimes it’ll crank first crank, or not start at all. I have the reset battery for it to start. Randomly, usually when it’s warm and I park it it’ll crank no start. Could it be a ground? Sometimes yes sometimes no on starting. I know when it doesn’t start it’s getting no signal to the fuel pump, which would usually buzz at ignition on.
@@jonrn6 Oh, I actually found the issue, so I swapped the cab and there’s some 13mil bolts that link each of the front fenders, I tightened those bolts and cleaned up the grounds and issue went away.
I found a complete schematic on some forum, it’s so long ago I can’t remember. Then i just started looking to see what i needed to have power and ground to in order to start it

The same thing was happening to my '99 cummins. The alternator wore out and fried the PCM. I originally thought it was the CPS but it was the PCM

Where did you get your wiring info?

Did u use the pcm?
Can this be done with out the PCM?
Yes@@jonrn6
the pcm is not at all connected. it’s actually completely removed. this is all just connected to the ecm
