Hi Brian, also have a 2003 that I’m swapping into a 55 M37 Dodge. My truck has a manual transmission but it has the accelerator pedal position sensor up on the motor. I have the build sheet for it so it definitely was built in 2003. I am looking forward to your build. Get well soon
I'm in the process of swapping a 2005 5.9 Cummins into a '88 crew cab. Just getting into the wiring. I did keep the pedal. I would think you could possibly use the 2005 pedal TPS.

If I recall you can adapt the drive by wire pedal from the 2006+ to the 05 and earlier trucks. Just google it and I’m sure the info is in one of the forums.
Thanks Brian for the video .... have a 2004.5 complete chassis with 5.9 and auto trans on mine. Someone robbed the ecu and injectors .. prior to me obtaining the chassis .. yet left the engine wiring for ecu and other but no ca harness. However, I do plan on getting the engine running like yours .. and install a 1948 GMC Cab and fenders and go with flatbed in the back ... Was wondering about the wiring diagram where you obtained it from and if you could provide a link, Thanks!
Hi Brian , hope your recovery goes well. Iam looking forward to your next video. I’ve been searching for a couple years now for some info on the newer common rail wiring for more so stand alone, my project build is a 47 REO on a 2003/04 dodge Cummins dually 5.9 6 speed std 4x4 .been going well for last 2 years and now getting ready for the wiring and throttle sensor patiently waiting 😊
The wiring diagram came from Alldata. They have nice interactive diagrams that are much more user friendly than the ones from the manufacturer, though I did find a mistake in their diagram of the OBD2 connector which I recently connected and was able to get the ECM to communicate with a scan tool. I'll be posting that video soon. I'll look into that for the a/c compressor. Thank you!
This is the beginning of an amazing series and I’ll be doing the EXACT same thing with a 2003 engine/auto trans into my 85 crew cab so I will be watching and learning every single step of the way! Thanks in advance for all the great info !

2003 Laramie dually 6 speed had the tps on the head. Also had a 03 2wd 6 speed that was under the battery box
That's awesome. Great video. Thanks for the detail. Subscribed.

Where did you locate that wiring diagram? Look at Medium duty applications for the higher A/C compressor mount.
