@@whatwespinning I like to compare him to a guy like Marner or Gaudreau and both of them took extra time in the minors after their draft so I would say probably 1 years maybeee 2 years.
Benson is really interesting, I think he goes 6th this year, but my NHL comp for him would be David Perron, super smart, consistent point production, and patient with the puck. A lot of younger players that are in the league now lack that patience, which is why the game moves so fast now. Benson is an outlier, but in a good way. he slows the game down, thinks his plays through and executes them to near perfection. not going to be a 100 point guy or anything but he's someone you can pencil in for a 60 point season year in and year out, barring no injuries. I like him a lot
I like the comparison but I think he is more gifted offensively than a guy like perron. I would say he could become close to a ppg player in his prime but could very well end up putting max 65 pts a season if he does not develop correctly
son coup de patin ressemble énormément à Nick Suzuki, quand il est sur la patinoire le jeu va à son rythme . il alimente efficacement ces compagnons de trio . son lancer manque légèrement de velocité, mais ça va se régler avec la prise de masse .
This guy has a very good hockey sense!! I wish I could be as good as him ;)
Everybody wish I think haba
Such a skilled player! He’s defenitely going to be a top 10.
Almost a lock you are right
0:40 absolutely insane he was able to sauce that pass perfectly while getting taken down like that
He is an absolute beauty
@@TChockey how soon after the draft do you think he can impact the NHL?

Top 5 pick in any other draft. Top 10 is loaded this year

Like that matters anything in real life.😅
Let's go benny!

En effet son IQ et son patin sont tres comparable à Suzuki. Vraiment un beau potentiel !
His hockey iq is off the charts, reminds me of marner. If he can improve his skating he's going to be a great player on the next level.
His IQ is so good that it makes up for the lack of speed he got. Very good comparisons my guy
